    Questions about anything

Seriously, I just changed my browser like a month ago, why are certain sites still telling me to switch to another? Is there something wrong with Opera?

    What made you think today?

Likewise, when you're born, there's paperwork involved to identify who you are. When you die, your relatives essentially have to sell the clothes on their back to bury you.

    Billy Barkhurst

Johnny T's Ernie laugh wasn't too strong either.

    Billy Barkhurst

I remember Johnny T's Ernie, and that I have to disagree with, I don't hear the similarities. If anything, Johnny T's Ernie sounded like an imitation of Steve's Ernie . . . think like how Marty's Telly first started out trying to sound like an imitation of Brian's Telly.

    Surprising Celebrity Ages

Megan Fox is apparently only two years older than I am, but once again, I would have assumed she was well into her thirties . . . but then again, she's always been a rather hard-looking woman - like, certainly not like a girlish princess-esque type, but not quite butch either.

    Commercial rant time...

Well, it's kind of like how Zaxby's is supposed to be a chicken restaurant, right? That is right? I wouldn't know, we only recently got a Zaxby's in the last couple of years, and I still have never been. But I wouldn't know by the fact that their commercials are always pushing their salads and...

None Like it Hot: The "I Hate the Heat" Club

I KNEW IT! I KNEW IT! I KNEW IT, I KNEW IT, I KNEW IT! IT HAPPENED AGAIN! IT HAPPENED AGAIN! THE FIRST FULL WEEK OF SEPTEMBER HAS BEEN CANCELED AGAIN BECAUSE AUGUST WANT TO CONTINUE TO RUN LONGER THAN IT'S SUPPOSED TO! THIS IS THE THIRD FROGGIN' YEAR IN A ROW THIS HAS HAPPENED! I'VE HAD IT WITH...

    Commercial rant time...

I want to like this one, I really do: they're actually poking fun at tabloids with this TMZ expy following Flo around to try to dish up dirt about her . . . but, it feels like they try a little too hard at it.

Sesame Street Episode 4635 ("Snazzy Society") missing from HBO's schedule

Oh wait, this is that episode about Segi becoming offended by her new storybook saying that brown isn't snazzy, isn't it?

    VMX on DVD (again)

It was IAVMMCM (for IT'S A VERY MERRY MUPPET CHRISTMAS MOVIE) for the longest time, but I guess that was too much for people to type out if they felt lazy, so it ended up being shortened to you VMX. But what about THE MUPPETS' WIZARD OF OZ? That's another one with multiple acronyms that nobody...

    The Chipmunks

It's still a little disheartening to see how far FP has fallen from their glory days. I mean you take a look at their SST playset from the 70s, then compare the 40th anniversary playset they made in 2009, and there's just no comparison. Heck, I remember as a kid in the 90s, FB has this really...

    The driving experiences thread

I'm probably too fat to ride a bike now. Gosh, I probably haven't ridden a bike since I was maybe nine or ten, maybe . . . that was when we ended up moving to neighborhoods that lacked other kids to play with and basically places to play outside, which is probably why I ended up becoming an...

Sesame Street Episode 4635 ("Snazzy Society") missing from HBO's schedule

No, apparently it was a repeat of 4634.

    The driving experiences thread

As far as buses go, I too get annoyed when I'm stuck behind a bus that makes frequent stops down the same stretch of road - I remember one time being stuck behind a bus, right at an intersection where I needed to turn, but I couldn't go around it because not only was everybody else behind me...

    The Chipmunks

Well, Walmart has given us our first look at some new toys from Fisher-Price, and they . . . ah . . . uh . . . hmm . . . Well, Alvin looks good . . . he's really just about the only one that looks good (well, Theodore looks decent). Simon looks like he's high as a kite, Brittany looks like...

Was Jerry Nelson a PBS P-Pal?

You sure about that? Because I recall SNIZ & FONDUE vividly, and I don't remember ever hearing Jerry's voice in any of their segments.

    The driving experiences thread

Well, to be fair, M*A*S*H was never intended to be "just another sitcom," it always managed to find a good balance of comedy and drama (well, the first couple of seasons or so are a bit sillier, mainly because the network interfered too much in the beginning), but in those final seasons, the...

    The driving experiences thread

Vaguely - I tend to avoid Seasons 8-11 like the plague: too dark and preachy.
