Yeah. I checked out Redsonga's link and I haven't noticed much of a difference, but maybe I do need to hear the new Robin again after listening to that and listen more closely. But like someone mentioned, Jerry just has a distinct voice that can't really be duplicated. It's sort of the same...
I agree that Beau should have had a line or two. He's one of Dave Goelz' characters and he's the one Muppateer who's still with us. I could have seen him as the cab driver. No offense to Whoopi though. I also agree with what someone had mentioned earlier that if the special were on for...
Okay. Here are my thoughts. I won't say too much here since there's not to much to say that hasn't been said in thirteen pages of posts. But anyway, I think it's a good idea to have Gonzo as a main character. After all, Kermit was the main character in IVAMCM, so I guess they couldn't think...
I have to agree with that. I know quite a few people said they didn't care for Steve's performance at Kermit, but I always thought he's done a great job. Plus he's been at the job for so long now he really seems to have gotten the hang of it. Hopefully he'll continue to do it for many years...
Okay. I'll comment on ep 4180, since this was the first time I've seen it today.
Yeah. It seemed like the street story ended kind of quickly. They could have expanding on that a bit, maybe having Gordon tell everybody their better off just being themselves. I do like the shower cap...
Now that's something I'd like to see. Dr. Phil talking about his wife and Kermit thinking he's talking about his nephew or vice versa. Heck, Robin the Frog could even make an appearance there. Has he even been performed by anyone since Jerry Nelson retired?
Yeah. I checked that out and it's since it's been so long since I've seen the television broadcasts, I didn't think that much was edited on the DVD. That's a shame because my mom really likes that one too. It would be nice to watch some of the edits from the broadcast. I know I saw a saw the...
Yeah. It's always great to see SS characters on the float who aren't on the show too often anymore, especially Alice and Barkley. Then there are the SS humans who are down to one appearance per season, Susan & Bob, so I'm glad they were both there. I also really liked the song Kermit sang at...
Okay. I'm not going to start a new thread on this, but I caught Kermit and Fozzie on Fox News this morning to promote the Muppet Whatnot Workshop. Anyone else catch that? Just thought I'd ask.
I thought the real Pepe did sound a bit different than usual there, but maybe it's just my ears or the fact that the sound is a bit sped up on my computer. What got me is that he didn't say 'okay' after every sentence like he usually does. That was weird.
Wow! You're fast, Count. I just posted that about ten minutes ago. Another reason for me to check out the Mine-itis episode whenever my local station plays that one. Thanks for the info.
BTW, Sillyred in response to your post, I think it's best that Abby wasn't used quite as much this...
Wow. I didn't know about that. (No complaints on this topic please.) Is 4186 scheduled for next season? Production numbers really confuse me. Lol.
Yeah. They probably did have Don in mind when they wrote that line. I was wondering about what happened with the end getting cut off. I...
Okay. I didn't see the Mine-itis episode yet but whenever I do, I keep a look out for that.
I saw the Denny the Distracter ep today. (That's what's nice about me seeing episodes so late each season. It helps us to keep these threads going.) So that was Gilbert Gottfried. I haven't really...
I agree with that. It seems like the Murray segment appeared in every ep which really wasn't necessary considering they played them twice. If they don't have enough ideas on that for a full season, it probably shouldn't appear in every episode. Hopefully that's something they'll improve on...
That was good. At first I thought it would be a disappointment and we'd just see the Muppet likenesses of Al, Michelle & Matt rather than the familiar Muppets that we all know and love, but I should have known that the Muppets wouldn't let us down. Plus this gives me an idea for a new...
