I'm Serena and new at Muppet Central

Hiya! Welcome to Muppet Central! Pool opens at 7 am through 10 pm, and the kitchen is always open for use--although the Chef isn't always cooking. Sometimes, Pepe and Seymour does it, but they do pretty good. Especially the Fried Bananas!!

    But as Clifford, not MT-emcee-Clifford.

Fun-4-All may produce Sesame Street Action Figures

I don't even see a semblance to the cartoon versions. What cartoons were they basing these on? There's the one guy that does the art long ago for the books (Scott used it as a screensaver at his site) that looked good and like the puppets more than these figures do.

    Luke! ALF stuff...

Rock 103, the local station that Muley does a lot of things alongside for the Ronald McDonald House of Memphis started their afternoon show with Drake and Zeke, and they were playing the ALF Theme when they started and Drake made mention that "Life is good when you know you're celebrating the...

    My introduction!

Hiya, Tiggie, and welcome! The two old guys are Statler and Waldorf, and remind me of me when I'm that age: old, bald, and beside myself! HAA! WOCKA WOCKA!

I don't like Clifford, do you?

I do like Clifford. I liked him better when he was a little more wild-eyed (with sunglasses on, heh heh)--like in JHH and Muppets From Space than on MT, but he's cool on MT also. Didn't you see him with Paula Abdul?? THAT was a cool sketch!

Fun-4-All may produce Sesame Street Action Figures

What made the company decide to base the figures off the SS art? Had you skipped stylized and gone straight for 'true likeness' I would feel better about this line. I was really excited at first, but I think there is a lot of work to be done to these figures before I'll be excited about buying...

Fun-4-All may produce Sesame Street Action Figures

Hiya, Chad. Seems from prior posts that 'stylized' does mean cartoony. As far as what the others are saying (and I need to see it to make a judgement) the figures are not nearly as detailed or articulated as Palisades, and our Fun 4 All informant stated that it would be close to the scale of...

    Is it January 3rd, 1970?

The gas powered cars weren't as fast as the steam engine trains, that's why they had to use a train. I was there.

    A Really Weird Thing...

Here's a good one (Memphis is full of crime lately): Right down the road from my apartments a guy robbed the bank, then was chased 2 miles away to a house where he ran in and began holding a family hostage at gunpoint. What is the DEAL with the world??

Fraggle Rock on "I Love the 80's Strikes Back"

Zacks right! They should have made mention of Little Shop! It was a whole new kind of movie when they made it. Groundbreaking.

    Monster Mash

You all know I have a Ghostbusters uniform, but we were discussing doing a Christmas Theme at our haunt, which is normally called Nightmarez!, and we were going to call the Xmas themed deal: Nightmarez! B4 Christmas. We were going to have people go through the Christmas Carol and deal with...

Rumor: The Muppet Wizard of Oz

Good idea, King Prawn!! This I like. And you also leave the plot open for transferring between the story of the Muppet Theater and Oz Happenings. Cool.

Fun-4-All may produce Sesame Street Action Figures

Is anybody who has the picture going to post the picture somewhere for us to see? I think it's okay to dumb things down for kids, but in reality while many parents are going to buy these things for their kids you have to realize that there is a much larger market for collectors, and even...
