Well, the reason I asked was because we had a celebrity commentary show on cable in the U.S. years ago that included Australian TV personality Wes Dening - in one segment, they're commenting on a dumb as-seen-on-TV product called the "Ms. Taken Ring," essentially a fake wedding ring for women to...
I don't about Chip, but I think much of the hate for Kathy was because she essentially replaced Denny Siegel after she was fired, and I know many Whosers really liked Denny since she could be one of the guys. Kathy, on the other hand, the producers restricted much of what she could do on the show.
Yeah, we have problems like that as well with one of our location radio stations that plays, "Today's hits, and all your favorites!" At times, they feel like the "All-Taylor All the Time" station.
They also have a problem with playing only one certain song from other artists over and over and...
You an me both, sister! It was comfortable and more fall-like the last few days here as well, but our temps have jumped way up now into the upper 70s and possibly even the low 80s for the next couple of weeks, so as you well know, I'm not too happy about that, lol.
At least there's...
As far as public performances goes, I got my feet wet at PBS for pledge drives, and one year I played a wise-cracking construction barrel for Vacation Bible School one summer (the kids really flipped over that). I haven't ever done street performances, however, I do live in a town that attracts...
Colin Mochrie tends to get the biggest laughs from me to the point where I'm crying or my sides hurt.
I honestly haven't thought about it.
To date, I've built fourteen puppets (including two Steve D'Monsters), and at the moment, all but my four most recent ones that I built last year are in...
Maybe not post offices, but the postal system is tanking big time what with emails, chats, social media, and things like that, they've have to make up for it by increasing stamp prices again, cutting hours for employees, and even launching a clothing line (yes, there's actually a USPS clothing...
Wow, you have been lurking for a long time, haven't you? :P
I hear you, this is why I'm sometimes not happy to see certain threads from years past suddenly bumped by newer members - it's embarrassing to see what I was like back in those days. ><
Definitely stop climate change. DST and the newer...
Outside of the first U.S. version of WHOSE LINE IS IT ANYWAY? (where she was not a fan-favorite), she's virtually unknown. Up in her native Canada, however, she's much more a familiar face.
Oh man, I was such an immature brat back in those days, wasn't I? If I could send a message to myself ten years ago, I would probably say, "Dude, STFU already! You really are making an *** of yourself with your obsession with Kathy Greenwood!"
Not that I'm no longer a fan of hers, I do still...
I just realized looking at it now, it kind of looks like Sesame Street started going through a gentrification process that they just gave up on by the time they reached Hooper's. Another reason why I sometimes contemplate making the rest of that building look like it did in the mid-to-late 80s...
Oh my gosh, this commercial is incredible!
You see a break-up in fiction, it's always the girl crying her mascara off, and drowning her sorrows by eating a gallon of ice cream while piled up in bed and watching romcoms, while the guy is always a big jerk playa who's a piece of you-know-what...
