Seems that CN decided to rerun the series at Noon on weekdays. It's on right now, actually. Hope this means they might put it on a more accessible slot. I really think it could work as part of the weeknight line up.
I'm sure it's really bad when you have a wealth of stuff but not the time to put all of it up as well. And not everyone who has Sesame Street on VHS has every single thing ever on tape as well.
But the thing that annoys me is when classic fans whine that none of this stuff is on the show...
I'd say Mike Pollack is my second favorite Eggman/Robotnik with the obvious number one being Long John Baldry. And I'm glad Sega thinks well of him as well, since he's the only Sonic X VA that kept his character's role. And I love how they kept Cubot and Orbot in the series as well...
I'm adding a new rant.
SERIOUSLY, NICKELODEON?!?!?!
A Kids React TV series? Oh yeah! That's great. A lousier version of something you can see for free online that's about 5 years old. Really? You're trying one of those again?! Especially since no one liked any of the other ones and...
Here's the thing. You know when the last time Asian Americans had their own sitcom? American Girl back in the 90's, and that didn't even last that long, and the network was trying hard to pull them away from Korean culture.
Let's face it. The vast majority of sitcoms star white guys...
It's not that I hate to admit it, but I'm actually loving lunkhead Knuckles over the classic brooding loner personality. Not that it wasn't a good fit for the character, but I can still see how they messed him up and made him an annoying, whiny little punk in Underground. I really wish that...
The author of Clifford, The Big Red Dog has died at the age of 86.
the Clifford series was one I quite enjoyed as a kid, and I even got one of his books signed. This is pretty depressing news for me. Any other Clifford fans out there want to share?
There's usually that big budget flop in May that exists to make the higher performing movies look good and give them a boost in Box Office. Maybe not every year, but certainly most years. Of course there's the one that always does kinda well, but not great.
As far as releasing films en masse...
That show was moderately successful at best, and frankly, it wasn't that good. You could call the show anything with the exact same scripts and it would have worked. Not that band based cartoons were exactly good, and it's actually the best of the examples. It was supposedly a hit in the...
And it still didn't make any sense.
Oh jeez. I want to turn this thread into a spitting on the grave of RealVideo. As I'm saying younger members of this board will not appreciate how Youtube changed classic Sesame fandom the way us older fans will. I remember having to download clips on...
I'd say the worst girls cartoon I've ever watched was Maxie's World. You had guys writing the scripts! And they handled problems girls face terribly. There's an episode about anorexia that is so incredibly misguided I can't even call it anvilicious. I mean the vapid, hot chicks that learn...
I found that out a couple nights ago on the TV listings. Right after the Elf thing too. Still have to watch Earthworm Jim: For Who the Sleigh Bell Tolls. Probably do it later.
Glad to see ABC's airing something besides that annoying Christmas Decoration contest show. Seems they really...
Oscarfan uploaded the Spanish version of the 10-Q a while back, and I think it's on his Marshalarchibaldo channel. Suffice to say, it translates poorly.
It is. It's just called My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. That was the show Lauren was trying to pitch to Hasbro, but they rather would have built up the concept with an existing toy line with brand recognition than try and start one full cloth. It's much easier, and it has a much easier...
Anyone else think this was an ingenious episode to air just before Christmas? Considering how antsy kids are going to get this time of year, I certainly do.
And you know what made this episode special? The fact that, after all the techniques the adults and Abby tried to get Rosita to refrain...
That's what I've been saying in another thread about how they dare to not show old stuff on the show anymore. Only the older members remember the days of tape trading. Heck, even with the internet, before youtube, we were lucky to see a moderately lesser known clip on...ugh... RealVideo. The...
I actually really like the dummy one. Somehow the "No one at all" bit almost makes me hear Homer's voice in my head saying "OH! Stupid sexy dummy."
But those ones where Flo pulls an Eddie Murphy in Nutty Professor... I'll admit they are well done, and the actress shouldn't be pidgeonholed...
The funny thing is, I dreaded Guardians of the Galaxy's August opening because August is where movies go to die, and the choice of the most obscure and quirky Marvel comic there is would have certainly alienated everyone but die hard comic nerds who would only go to see it to complain about it...
Bully? Feh. He was toned down compared to the book. In the original Arthur's Tooth story, he was more than happy to suggest punching it out of him. But Francine was worse. At least there's the excuse that she had some character development since then. But Binky was always hard to place...
