    Questions about anything

I had a jury summons last January; I was there a number of hours and never got called to be screened. I got a check for $5 and apparently won't be called again for five years.

Unearthing previously "lost" Sesame Street episodes

Does Sesame Street do parodies any more?

Well, by contrast, season 45 had 39 celebrity guest appearances across 26 episodes, whereas the current season only has 6 across 35 episodes.

Does Sesame Street do parodies any more?

No. There was an article from 2016 about how they were cutting back on spoofs and celebrities and adult-targeted jokes because research found that adults weren't watching with their kids as much anymore, so to better focus on what kids like, they essentially stopped those things. They've done...

Classic Sesame Street clips on YouTube

Every single script says Piri. Once would be a mistake, several times, no.

Chris Langham Muppet Show episode missing on Disney+

Considering Disney just collaborated with Henson for Earth to Ned (and how they got Kermit back in Emmet Otter and Christmas Toy), there might be something there that would allow the two to strike a deal for this particular series. Say what you will about music rights, but keep in mind that...

Muppet Show Disney+ disclaimers under criticism while fans thankful for series

I believe it's going on their new section called "Star," which is for much more mature content.

Chris Langham Muppet Show episode missing on Disney+

Given that he also had some onscreen bit parts on the Jim Henson Hour, it doesn't seem likely that we'll see those either.

What made you roll your eyes today thread?

I feel like the Swedish Chef is so divorced from any normal reality to be truly offensive.

Muppet Show Disney+ disclaimers under criticism while fans thankful for series

That song is 100% ironic. It's by Shel Silverstein, so you know it's not supposed to be serious. I would wager it has to do with the "Swanee" number (using Dixie and "Mammy!").

Muppet Show Disney+ disclaimers under criticism while fans thankful for series

I expected people to get upset about the content itself and tweet about the Confederate flag and such. I did not expect people to be so up in arms about getting told about that stuff.

Sesame Street Season 51 Episode 5115 - The Cool Tool Kid

I didn't actively dislike this one for once this season. Maybe because it focused on funny characters and not just Elmo and Abby. Good to finally see Ernie and Bert for once, and Biff and Sully!

    When you need to rant...

Are you sure about that? I read that one of the founding ideas was that they couldn't find a decent website to see the Janet Jackson Super Bowl clip, so they thought of their own site where things like that could be uploaded.

"Major and important" Muppet announcement coming soon

I'd rather they cover all their bases and let people know ahead of time there are some episodes with less-than-ideal-socially material.

"Major and important" Muppet announcement coming soon

They've put that on a few things, I think (like Dumbo and Peter Pan, and some random Donald Duck short that didn't really need it).
