Honestly, I love Frank's other work, but I do think that his best work is on Sesame Street! I think he was a little bit more free to be loose, and to cut up. Even with Bert he is able to somehow make someone so dull become really funny.
That is very true, and I use to think that Elmo was not a well rounded character, until I really started watching Sesame Street, around season 40. He can be very funny, but at the same time he has a whole lot of heart and love, for everyone. I think that is what I like about all the Muppets...
Well I love Grover, and Ernie and Bert, and Oscar. I also loved Big Bird in follow that Bird.
I have said this before on here but, I use to hate Elmo. Then I read Kevin Clash's book, and found the deeper meaning into Elmo, and from that I fell in love with that little red monster.
If you...
Welcome to Muppet Central! I am originally from Tennessee, but I am in Florida now. I have lived in north east TN and in Nashville. I love Tennessee, and it will always be my home, and hold a special place in my heart!
Sorry I'm rambling, anyways Welcome to Muppet Central!
I really enjoyed your story, but I will be honest and say that the ending seemed kind of rushed. You put Kermit, Dr.Theeth, and Rowlf in a very dark place, and for the story to have more meaning, and impact they needed to slowly get out of the darkness they where in. Kind of show the healing...
I hope that they don't use the same old pictures that have been used countless times. I hope some new pictures are done, with some old rare pictures we may have not seen in a long time.
I also think it will be very interesting what they will do with the Jim Henson Hour, and maybe Muppet babies.
Very nice, I hope you continue to write more for this story. It almost made me shed a tear. I hate to see Kermit so sad, I just want to hold him and tell him everything will be ok. Wow I sound like a girl!
Sure that might work as well!
Another thing that I would love to see released would be Jon Stone memoir. They talk about that book a lot in Street Gang. I think that would be a wonderful book to read about the history of the show.
I would also love to see Frank Oz, and Carroll Spinney(The...
Well something that might be more cost effective for the Workshop, and customers, would be a DVD, that showcased a Muppet Something like 45 Years of Big Bird, or 45 years of Ernie and Bert. Now granted a lot of the Muppets did not start out on the first season. but what they could do is just...
I don't know, I would rather have a few more street stories with Big Bird Oscar, Grover, Ernie & Bert. I mean bringing back Roosevelt would be nice, but I really think they could do more with them first before bringing back someone who we have not seen since the 700's.
