I was just thinking about this the other day. He did really seem to go back and fourth with the accent. In later years it seems to be gone almost entirely, except for a few words, occasionally, like when he says "What d'ya got the-ya (there)" (Sorry, it's hard to type a New York accent)
I...
Sorry i'm late but, I hope all went well. It's definitely nerve-wracking having someone breath down your neck when your used to doing things a certain way. It's kind of like how my house is peaceful and we run things in a way that works for us, but than our grandparents come over and it's like...
Welp, i'm gonna do what i've been wanting to do my whole life (and what I have been doing to a certain extent) and that's drawing, writing, puppeteering, and building puppets. Very recently, I started building the first puppets i've done since I was nine. I hope to start making puppet content on...
Sorry to double post but, I have a theory. I mentioned this on another thread at some point, but- I think after the 2011 movie was a success, Disney should have immediately tried to capitalize on that success. They should've had more merchandise, started working on a TV show to keep people...
This forum has more or less been one huge dry spell the whole time i've been here, except, of course, when The Muppets was still on the air. And from what I can tell, it's been that way since at least 2012. Although, some times are worse than others.
Yeah, these days it's not usually very active unless something important is going on, like when a new Muppet show or movie comes out. We're in another dry spell, so it's gonna be pretty quiet for a while. Those ask threads that different members started a week or two ago were pretty popular, but...
That's awesome! I know how much you like The Loud House, so i'm really happy for you. Would love to see the pictures if ever you decide to post them. Chris has so much experience working in animation, going back all the way to the early 90s, so i'd love to get to talk to him one day.
I'm in a good mood today. Don't even know why, but I'm just super happy :) Just love life I guess. Anyone else ever get stupidly happy for no good reason?
It wasn't great, but it's the sort of story I think we should have more of. The plot was simple but not too simple, and the story was just long enough to not feel rushed, but it also wasn't long enough to feel boring. I like that they had a nice assortment of characters. Really there's nothing...
Originally I wanted to start a thread specifically for members who are celebrating two years on the forum this year like me, but I figured that would be very limiting. So, instead here's a thread where all members can celebrate the anniversary of the day they first joined the forum.
Why would you not want to know how much money you're getting when you look for a job? Isn't money the main reason most people get a job in the first place :p? I think employers absolutely should be upfront and honest about salary.
Well, while the show and the movie weren't very successful, they, along with the 2011 movie, still gave the franchise a good amount of exposure. So, they haven't been forgotten. They're definitely way more popular right now than they were in 2003, and unlike the JHC, Disney has the money to...
SST's cut back on the parody sketches since last year, so I was starting to miss them. So here's their new Real Housewives spoof about grouches. Although, admittedly that's not the main reason it caught my eye. The real reason it caught my eye was it features the return of Grundgetta! Also...
Huzzah! May each of your days be filled with more joy than the last. May your worries be as far and few between as your grandmother's teeth. May bad times in your life be like the Death Star and you- Luke Skywalker! May your... you know what, I think you get the idea.
In honor of you, Brian...
Aw, buddy. My heart's aching for you, it really, really is. I went through a tough time in my life somewhat recently as well, I hope you get out of this. Still praying for you. And if you ever wanna talk, you know you can talk to us. Anyways, we've...
