Boy, is this forum dead today or what?

We're having a bad couple of weeks; even just a month ago this place was much more active. We also have a discord now, which is lowering general forum chat.

Sesame U.S. Postage Stamps Coming in 2019

To echo Consummate, Guy is definitely the most surprising character here... I'm surprised to see Julia as well, though I don't know much about her or her popularity since I don't really follow the show anymore.

Frank Oz Talking ‘The Muppets,’ ‘Sesame Street’ and Dark Crystal Prequel

He and Jim have always had this attitude that they were never really crazy about puppetry and that it kind of chose them... some of the stuff he says I don't understand either, but I trust him since he's so on the money with other things. Too true! :D To me, Frank is one of us, and our...

Frank Oz Talking ‘The Muppets,’ ‘Sesame Street’ and Dark Crystal Prequel

I bet he loves how they said he "voiced" his characters. It's really shame this guy is a living genius/legend and neither SS nor the Muppets are using him; once he passes, they're gonna be looking around like a ghost went through the room. ... and he's on the money as usual. Peak Muppet...

New Series- The Wacky Adventures of Ernie and Bert

I lol'd at Kermit being an "obscure character", but I guess he is in the context of SS's history.

That abandoned Charmander episode is so sad!

Boy, is this forum dead today or what?

Someone needed to say it; one of the slowest weeks in recent in memory. I feel like a lot of regulars took the week off.

New Series- The Wacky Adventures of Ernie and Bert

I feel like those would be easiest because they would act as a sleeve or something; like you could literally just put ping pong balls on a sock as the base.

Diamond Select Toys to Produce new Muppet figures and mini mates!

Just Animal and B&B? I thought the balcony was the rarest piece? I would've rather just seen them go ahead with Sam, Rizzo, Zoot and Teeth instead. Is it just me, or is Diamond irregularly slow with producing stuff? I also collect their Kingdom Hearts figures (which they are saying have been...

Classic Sesame Street clips on YouTube

Is that the first time we ever saw that scene in action? I always saw that image, but never knew what it was from.

Make it unlisted but still embed here; that way, people will only be able to view it from this site.

Way too hard... they're all amazing! We were beyond spoiled with this line.

Medicom is producing Sesame Street figurines

Ehhh.... both of them look slightly off... not as good as their Sesame counterparts.

    Funko Pop Series 2

Why don't the Ernie and Kermit dolls have black bug eyes? :D I'm sorry, but what an amazing idea for a figure trashed because Jim Henson was apparently an insect.

    The "Explain Your Avatar" Thread

Muppet Monster Adventure, a solid Spyro clone from 2000; not bad by any means, but they didn't do anything extraordinary with the license.

Rare "Cracks" animation from 1970's Sesame Street

Wouldn't it be just as likely that it generally got phased out as well, for no reason other than being weird? I was literally thinking how weird it would be to see this short between a clip of Bert & Ernie and an animal segment or something.

Sesame Street Episode 847 with Margaret Hamilton

Am I the only one who can't believe she was 74 when she appeared in the Paul Lynde Halloween Special? As the witch, she looks like she could pass as 30; night and day from the two stills we've seen from 847.
