Since Muppet Babies returned to TV, on Disney Junior, I was wondering, Greg-- is there a possibility of you doing a guest voice as Scooter? I know Eric Bauza got the role of Fozzie...
Obviously, we've seen Muppet Show, Sesame Street, and Fraggle Rock Muppets honor Jim, particularly on the 30th anniversary special from 1986, and the 1990 special that honored him right after his passing (and the first time we got to see Steve Whitmire perform Kermit the Frog). The question I...
It's been a while since we've talked about (or heard from) the Skrumps. But I have a question I wanted to ask-- could Wishbone and Skrumpy (and maybe Raisins) ever sing covers of songs from the Electric Mayhem? I always thought Wishbone would be great at singing Can You Picture That? from The...
Seeing how we're fast approaching the 30th anniversary of Muppet Babies, and that of Skeeter, imagine if she became an adult Muppet, and in puppet form. The question is, who would perform her?
For me, I thought maybe Joey Mazzarino could do her justice... what about you guys?
Not sure if it's the right place to post this, but here it is:
(We hear the opening notes. Sid and his classmates look at a rainbow with Teacher Susie.)
Sid: Uh, Susie? Why are there colors in a rainbow?
Susie: Good question, Sid! I even know a song about rainbows! And I'll let some...
(We hear a drumroll, along with a "tick-tock" sound.)
ANNOUNCER (Marty Robinson): And now, it's time for everyone's favorite stunt show, the New Beat the Time! And here is your new host, Sonny Friendly!
(The audience cheers. Guy Smiley walks out, getting caught in the gold curtains.)
GUY...
Such a beautiful Christmas card! My favorite parts are:
1.) May making music with Emmet Otter and Boober Fraggle
2.) Sid, Cow Bella, Apollo, and Buddy waving to the card-looker
3.) Tiny flying over Red while the latter swings on a vine
4.) Cotterpin and her fellow Doozers hanging lights
Remember back in 2008 when the Pajanimals first came onto PBS Kids Sprout as a series of musical shorts and they sang a lullaby to help kids go to sleep that now has (roughly) two million views on YouTube? Well, I noticed that they did a new version for the TV series, and I'd like to know if you...
Welcome to Muppet Central, Greg!
Just out of curiosity, have you seen some of the newer Henson shows like Sid the Science Kid, Dinosaur Train, and Pajanimals? Or even older material like Fraggle Rock? (Both live-action and cartoon versions)
And as I pointed out earlier, I think the Pajanimals could easily do a great cover of this song... especially in Sweetpea Sue's case. Given how well she sings, especially on a certain lullaby of theirs that has roughly two million views on YouTube...
Granted, we've seen Sesame Street and Fraggle Rock characters do that, but here's some other Henson characters I could see singing this:
1.) Sid the Science Kid and friends
2.) The Pajanimals (especially Sweetpea Sue)
3.) Bear and his friends in the Big Blue House
4.) The Skrumps
5.) Bobby and...
I agree to that!
BTW, I wonder if anyone asked the Muppeteers themselves about singing that particular song as the character I described? (I can definitely see Gobo and his uncle Traveling Matt singing this as a duet, or Sweetpea Sue singing it herself.)
Here's my list:
1.) The Fraggles
2.) The Pajanimals
3.) Sid the Science Kid and friends
4.) Dinosaur Train cast
5.) Bear and his friends from the Big Blue House
6.) Puppet Up! puppets
7.) Wilson and Ditch
8.) Bobby and Samson
9.) Augie and Del
10.) Late Night Liars puppets
That's about all I...
