Well to back up my opinion regarding the Queen music video. The main reason why I don't like it simply because of the song itself. Like my mentioned, my best friend loves this song and showed me that it was from Wayne's World, etc. Best but it, I'm picky with my music. I like melody to be simple...
I wonder what that lever thingy is, looks more like a prop. Plus it would be difficult to do an explosion if the same technician was on camera, you know for safety purposes and such.
I was just curious how are Muppet Explosions done on The Muppet Show and the Muppets Tonight years. From what I remember, the explosions seem to be more like smoke or powery unlike The Muppet Show years where you can actually see flairs and some fire clouds in them from time to time so it must...
I'm not sure if Kevin would perform Miss Piggy in the Pigs in Space: The Next Generation sketches because Kevin is busy performing that brain pig guy. The character with a brain for a head.
When was Miss Piggy on the Andie McDowell episode? I love that episode, my favorite part of the episode was Johnny Fiamma singing a parody version of Pretty Woman "Pretty Bunsen" when Dr. Bunsen Honeydew was changing his image and beating up Sal. lol First time they ever did a hand and rod...
Cool, I'm on Toonzone as well. lol
By the way, does anyone know that Kevin did do the voice of Animal in the Sandra Bullock episode of Muppets Tonight when he says "sorry"? His Sam the Eagle for It's a Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie wasn't that bad either. Though it was strange that he took...
I love that Bill Cosby episode a lot, in fact I bought the very Bill Cosby Season on DVD just to get that episode. lol Plus that episode "Cliff's Nightmare" was originally a cross over episode because Bill Cosby would come on before The Jim Henson Hour. It's truely a great funny episode and...
Oh yeah, the rapping Alphabet, I remember that one. I love how Grover is spinning in different positions through out. lol It kind of reminds me a little bit of the movie Gremlins with the Gremlin doing the Flashdance parody break-dancing. I just love how in the 1980s how Jim and his crew was...
I loved Kevin's performance in Dog City. The Jim Henson Hour and Muppets Tonight was probably my most favorite of Kevin's performance work with The Muppets. That and his work as Howard Handupme and Baby Sinclair on Dinosaurs. Amazing work. Like I probably already mentioned, Leon is my favorite...
I love this kind of stuff Kevin does with Elmo outside Sesame. lol When I was watching the Being Elmo Documentary, there's this great outtake. I won't spoil it for anyone who hasn't seen it but it's hilarious. lol
I don't know if I posted this one already or not but to me this is a classic. I'll admit I'm not much of an Elmo fan though I don't mind the early Elmo stuff. Plus I just love the music of Chris Cerf and this had a really good 80s keyboard syth music within the rap song. My kind of music :)
Well I don't think Copyright law is related to that sort of thing, I think it's in the matter of company wanting to go international or not. More like company choice but who knows, they seem very successful and perhaps will distribute international someday as the company explains. :)
Monster Maker I don't think is on there anymore, I called up a request for Netflex to bring it back.
I've watched Being Elmo for the first time Friday on Netflex streaming video and loved it, I'm totally buying the DVD and iTunes download :)
Oh yes Sax and Violence, a true classic. lol Plus one of Nigel's rare apperances after he lost the audition for being The Muppet Show host. lol Was this the only time Jim performed Nigel after the pilot? Or was the last time Jim performed Nigel was The Muppet Show number where Floyd was on bass...
Wasn't Kevin one of the original Muppeteers for Andy and Randy when they made their debut on Muppet Time? I miss Andy and Randy, they were probably my favorite new Muppets on Muppets Tonight, they always cracked me up. I loved the cold opening to I think it was the Sandra Bullock episode where...
I just watched Being Elmo for the very first time today on Netflex. I loved it and can relate so much to Kevin Clash's childhood putting puppet shows in the neighborhood and such. And my mother helped me build my puppets as well. I was so amazed how much I can relate to that. Beautiful Film. I'm...
I have Frank Oz's on my wall next to a picture of Jim Henson. :) I did send a letter to Jerry Nelson but unfortunately he passed the month I sent the fan letter. I still want to get Dave Golez and Steve Whitmire's. I got Frank's from the Sesame Workshop address, I know that Dave only did Sesame...
That's the trumpett player episode where Dave Golez is the sound inspector right? I love that episode. Season 4 right? That's probably one of my all time favorite episodes. :)
I just watched the documentary on Netflex. I'm totally going to buy the DVD and iTunes video download. I love the history of Jim Henson that's in it, esspecially the firey Labrynth problem of 28 takes of him swallowing his eyes, one of my favorite scenes from the film. Lots of rare photos, it's...
