Interesting, I didn't know there was an actual wall based on that saying. I don't think the title "Dead Puppet Society" is meant to be taken too seriously. I remember a puppeteer who did background puppeteering for some Muppet projects called his own characters that's not in use "The puppet...
I'm sure it's okay if it's video taping for educational puppetry practice purposes for yourself or to show some friends, but in terms of distribution I think it's quite tricky. If your reviewing the whatnot in a review format, it's fair use under copyright law but for entertainment non-profit...
I was listening to Muppet Central Radio and this Cookie Monster song came up called "Food" and it was said it came from the 2000s. I know it's not Frank, and it doesn't even sound like David Rudman's Cookie. Anyone know?
Remember Benny Bunny? He was quite a character, the bellhop of the Furry Arms Hotel in the 1990s. Him and Stinky the Pant I found to be quite scary looking characters, must be those Grouch eyes. Speaking of which, didn't Oscar used to have a dog?
I'm watching the clip now, I miss Guy Smiley. As well as Sonny Friendly. I love the one where they were together arguing who's hosting the game show. Those were the days. :)
I was reading on Muppet wiki a few days ago that one of the gems in Season 4, Sherlock Hemlock made a surprising cameo...
Oh yeah, so it was. I love how they had the X near a black background. I had a feeling that Herry was. :) I think I asked on the forum once if Uncle Deadly was based off of Vincent Price since he was in an episode before he meet him where he was known as the phantom of The Muppet Show. Someone...
Well for me I think it started around 1994 in my opinion. I think the reason why the show changed was because so it would relate better to this generation of kids educational wise. Since the start of the series, before an episode airs it's usually shown to several test groups of kids and I think...
It must have been pretty hard with the second Puppeteer operating the arm (arms). I notice little things with the Sesame Monsters like that changed over time. It's kind of like how Grover and Elmo would have these kind of floppy fingers back in the day but now the hands are better constructed. I...
"Hey Fellas. Luis, here's your door!" lol One of my all time favorite clips. And probably this and Little Jerry's song Danger is probably the only times to feature Muppet Explosions on Sesame Street. It's interesting because I've always had a theory in my mind about Muppet characters on how...
I'm just curious, who owns The Great Santa Claus Switch? I always thought it was owned by The Ed Sullivan Company but I have no idea what their official name is.
I have the first three box sets and I'm planning on getting the final series. But I want to get the complete set too. I love the separate ones because they have the rare booklet replicas to Jim's notebooks and sketch books. Though my main question is that there's 3 versions of the complete sets...
Yeah, It is pretty nice. Way better then then the Nick Jr covers.
You know, I remember watching The Animal Show on Animal Planet, when they reran the show. I think I started to watch it more when I started recognizing a lot of the background characters from previous Muppet productions. I like...
Really, the Jean Stapleton episode? Hmm, perhaps I discovered "I'm Just Wild About Harry" on Gonzo Presents Muppet Weird Stuff. Great episode, I love how Crazy Harry says "Hehehehehe It's a musical Numba!"
Wow, I'm surprised to learn now that not all the episodes were shown on Nick...
I was going to say that Loretta Switt's Vets Hospital sketch probably got cut over the mention of Mash which was a TV show set in a war situation, then again didn't Mash reruns play on Nick at Nite? lol I read certain scenes had to be edited out like one of the Muppet mellow dramas. Perhaps more...
I totally freaked out and jumped over that. YIKES! I'm so glad it's not late night for me right now otherwise I'd had nightmares. WOW, that looks like something that came out of a creepypasta website. The darkside of photoshop. I've heard of Bert is evil but WOW! lol No wonder Bert didn't...
Yeah that's strange about the Nickelodeon edits. I've never noticed the edits on there much probably because that's how I was introduced to The Muppet Show when growing up in the 1990s. I wonder how much stuff they cut out of there. Nick was crazy about editing a lot of things in general, Looney...
Wasn't there a Muppet cruise in which there was a lot of the main Muppets but performed by different people? I often wonder how their versions of the characters voices sounded like.
Absolutely. Yeah I agree, perhaps it's kind of an early shot to have the final judgement on Walter. Because in the shows, they develop more and more per episode while in movies, they are sort of set in stone so it takes them a little longer to evolve. So yeah, perhaps his personality will shine...
In my opinion and mine alone I just don't prefer them. If other fans like them, that's fine with me. We all have the right to our opinions and I respect that and agree to disagree. So I'll just leave it at that.
