Wow, Kermit and Scooter are tied. Never thought I'd see that happen, but I think after his big part in "The Muppets," we're going to see a spike in Scooter's popularity.

"The Graphic Textbook" Kickstarter campaign is ending in just five days and has not yet reached its funding goal, so as a backer and believer I'm trying to help drum up support. Artists contributing to the project...
This past Saturday was actually the first time in months I bought anything at my LCS; it's gotten too expensive for me to pick up comics on an individual basis, so I mostly get graphic novels cheap(er) on Amazon. Of course the only reason I went was to get the FCBD Labyrinth comic. It just so...
I'm afraid none of my LCS's will carry the "Labyrinth" book, at least not the one I actually enjoy going to because the people are nice there:sympathy:.
Here's the link to Reading with Pictures: The Graphic Textbook's Kickstarter page- http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/readingwithpictures/the-graphic-textbook
A Kickstarter campaign aimed at creating a graphic novel which can be used to teach children in the classroom. Roger Langridge and Katie...
I'm a huge Gremlins fan. Saw both films when I was a kid. I actually prefer 2, because the FX in it are truly amazing; the Gremlins look so much more real than in the 1st one.
I thought there were maybe 1 or 2 solid episodes of MT. The only one I really loved was the Rick Moranis episode, because he seemed like such a perfect host. I believe JHH was by far the better of the two; both the Muppet Central segments and the weekly specials were more often than not...
Comic books. Loved 'em since I was about 14. Used to be into both reading and collecting, but I've since sold most of my collectibles (busts, rare comics, comic-con sketches), and now focus mostly on reading trade paperback graphic novels, especially since the price of 1 new comic from Marvel or...
Hmmm... Kira's white gown, a vest of one of the pod-people, one of the eating utensils the Skekcis:scary: used, a rock with some symbol on it, a miniature model of one of the Mystics, and some kind of parchment with drawings by the Mystics or Augra. I wish they would've had one of the puppets...
I created a thread calling for a new Muppets game a few months back. There's been nearly a dozen over the years, but most of them weren't very good, although I found the Boss Battles in Muppet Racing to be quite fun, though the overall game wasn't great. I wish Disney would release a new Muppets...
No, no photos were allowed, which I think is ridiculous:boo:. The exhibit was wonderful though, and included Henson's original concept sketches, actual puppets, and props, most of it donated by the Henson family, I believe. It's a traveling exhibit, so if you look up "Jim Henson's Fantastic...
I dunno, I feel like Rowlf still had some good bits; his "how come I wasn't in the montage?" scene was hilarious, he was part of the now-classic "Barbershop Quartet Team Spirit," and he still had a good amount of screentime overall.
The original leather waistcoat from the film? With all these props from DC and Labyrinth, do you ever get calls from people wanting to display them in a gallery? I recently went to the Jim Henson's Fantastic World exhibit (for the 2nd time) at the Museum of the Moving Image in Queens, NY. Their...
Could be. Perhaps the Henson Company didn't think there'd be that much demand and therefore didn't have many produced, so copies sold out quick. Like I said, even used copies are selling for upwards of $40 on Amazon and eBay, which is definitely unusual for a 2-disc dvd set.
I'm bouncing between Scooter and Kermit right now; Kermit's the Muppet I loved since I was a kid, but for some reason now that I'm older I gravitate toward Scooter. I think Seagel and Stoller consciously gave Scooter a bigger role and more screen time in The Muppets than he'd ever had in a prior...
So, I bought The Storyteller: Definitive Collection (2 discs, Storyteller + Greek Myths) when it first came out, and now when I look it up on eBay or Amazon it's going for roughly $40-$50, even for a used edition. For a 2-disc collection, that seems like a lot. Is it rare and hard to find? I'm...
