As you remember about the limerick skits, they're short animated sketches that taught us letter sounds, but had limericks of any word that begins with each letter. When they were made in the 70's they were silent, until in 1997, they've added music so children can enjoy the music to the skits...
I think that the extra "Z" sketch I enjoyed was the Limerick Z-Zebu sketch! I've seen it on one of the 2000 shows on Noggin and here's how it went:
The zebu was off to lunch and so he takes out a rotten boot and his pair of socks. He glues them together next, puts them on bread and made his...
Hey guys, I've had a weird Elmo's World dream one night ago:
it was where Elmo made a video with Elmo's friends, in which they were cameo appearances! They were Oscar, Lefty (in a very different voice!!!) as he quickly says, "Wanna buy a donut, Elmo?", Baby Bear and a few others.
As I was...
the "What's the Name Of That Song" was seen only on #666. It was sung by all of the human characters plus Bert, the Count, Oscar and Herry.
Now, what other SS songs can be shown on Unpaved:
Kermit's Bayou Alphabet Song
Kermit's African Alphabet Song
Bein' Green
If I Were
This Frog...
Yes, I definately agree with you that American TV is never showing the classic Sesame Street episodes from 1969-1997 again because everyone likes Elmo's World! Sesame Street Unpaved and the 1-2-3 Sesame Street shows from 1993-94 are definately cancelled FOREVER, and soon, everyone will hate...
"I Don't Want To Live On the Moon" was seen on one of the Season 25 shows where Big Bird and Ruthie go to the Dance Class on top of the Finders Keepers store, now the Season 25 shows are gone because it doesn't have Elmo's World!!!
I believe that American TV is never showing Guy Smiley ever again.
But luckily, on my first Sesame Street, it featured two game shows with host Guy Smiley: "The Eating Game" and "Beat the Time (the Count version)" (the last seconds are missing).
I also have his last appearance from 1990...
The animated sketch from SS that used to scare me in my youth was Splasho the Diver. I think I remember seeing that in the late 80's episodes and on the Season 25 shows. The part that scared me was where Splasho yelled "BEFORE!" to the cleaner. I'm dying to see it so it won't be scary anymore...
:grouchy:
Ohhh, I think the Jim Henson Company is getting much worse!!!
I think when the Noggin channel changes, the people of Noggin were forgetting the old, classic Sesame Street and Sesame Street shows from Season 25! Here's what the people of Noggin said:
"Let's focus more on...
I thought of the GREAT SS sketch! Maybe this should be a commercial featuring Big Bird, Luis, Maria, David & Sam the Robot, and this would be the 70's classic Sesame Street style. I'll find out what you think of it. Here it is...
(Big Bird walks down Sesame Street. David runs out of Hooper's...
The tape of #3146 was taped from Noggin and don't forget that it also has The Inside Story film/song, Cecielle the Ball singing about opposites, the V Hurt My Knee poem cartoon and the Swinging Letters V Song by Chris Cerf!
All right, all right, I know what you're thinking, ssetta, here are...
Hi! When I checked out the line-up of The Muppet Show Palisades Action Figures Series 6, it only has Statler, Waldorf, Clifford and Officer Fozzie, and NO Beauregard. That's stupid! Why did Palisades didn't want to make Beauregard?
Okay, here's my description of the Season 25 show I have: It starts with Davey & Joey Monkey hanging in the Around the Corner playground as they say, "Today on Sesame Street, you will see the letters A and V and the number 18 and the word banana!" Then, they really want a banana so bad. They...
Hello!
I am now searching for any of the number painter segments besides '4' and '6', any of the falling baker films besides '2', '3', and '4', any of the race cars/spies sketches besides '2' and any of the pinball machine sketches besides '2', '6', and '10'. Where can I look for them?
I never watched 'T For Toes' sketch when I was born in January 23, 1987 as I watched Sesame Street.
But what was that sketch shown on any of the Unpaved episodes?
Baby Bear-a funny "W" language-talking and cutesy cub muppet is the muppet that first appeared on Sesame Street in the 1991-92 season. He was a minor character, because he was in the story, "Goldilocks & the Three Bears", but he and the other bears were annoyed by the Goldilocks Anything Muppet...
Actually, I'd better fix a tiny bit on my Harvey Kneeslapper's 'STOP' pun skit. I'd better start again:
The 'STOP' Pun
Harvey Kneeslapper: (looking through a giant orange envelope) A'HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!!! Do you wanna stop?
Anything Muppet: 'Scuze me?
Harvey Kneeslapper: I...
Hello,
I remember that the 2002 special "It's A Muppet Christmas Movie" featured many of the old Muppets like Rowlf, Scooter, the Electric Mayhem, Sam the Eagle, the Swedish Chef, Johnny Fiamma & Sal.
But, we all know that action figures of many of the classic Muppets were made from...
