In high school I played bass trombone. It's like a regular trombone except it's a bit bigger and sounds like a tuba. Usually they put the best trombone players on the bass trombone, but I was a horrible player so it's a mystery as to why they put me on bass. I was really, really loud. I...
Sorry. I don't have anything recorded to trade. I only vaguely remember an episode where a trash can came from space and Oscar got in it and went to the moon and they showed photographs from the moon. I always thought that was cool. I hope that was a real episode and I'm not just imagining...
Here are some of my memorable SS moments. Mr. Hooper dies, Oscar and his trash can go up in space, and I think there was one where C-3PO and R2-D2 showed up. Or maybe that was my imagination. Been so long ago.
Don't forget the movies: Follow That Bird and Elmo in Grouchland.

I loved that skit. Very funny. I was always under the impression that that particular skit was 'just for fun.' Nothing wrong with a bit of unpurposeful humor every now and then. If there was any lesson, I always thought it would be to take care of your pets.

On most message boards I usually use an avatar of Toad (from the Mario games). I couldn't get it to work here, but I've been too busy and lazy to work on getting it to work here (priorities, priorities).
Well, I really don't expect anyone to make me an avatar, but I'll make a request anyway...
Is it more than a coincedence that a thread about muffins is on a Muppet forum? I only ask because one of my little brothers called the Muppets, 'Muffins.' It's always, "The Muffin Show, The Muffin Movie, Muffin Babies, The Muffins Take Manhattan, etc."
My favorite muffins? Chocolate is...
The Muppet Movie was the very first movie I can actually remember seeing in a theater. Big flashbacks whenever I watch it again. I also had a record album of The Muppet Movie songs, so 'Rainbow Connection' and 'Movin' Right Along' are pretty familiar tunes to me. It's been a while since I've...
SS always came on around the time my mom was making dinner when I was little. She kind of ran a home day care service back then. Kids from the neighborhood would stay with us during the day while parents worked. So at 5:00 we'd all watch Sesame Street (this was back in the late 70's). When...
Oh yeah, "The Monster at the End of the Book" is a Golden Book classic. I loved it as a kid, and I can make my little brothers giggle with that book today. It's definitely a 'read together' kind of book. I always liked the page where if you turned it over, Grover got crushed by a ton of...
Let's see...Muppet Time sketches...I can only remember two.
In one, Andy and Randy are trying to clean their room...don't know what happened or how it turned out, but knowing those two pigs, I'm sure some sort of hilarity ensued.
And in another one, Robin and the Frog Scouts come across a...
I like Tutter as well.
Bear in the Big Blue House is a very cute show for little kids.
Anyone remember The Animal Show (with Stinky and Jake?)? That was a good one, too.

Tutter is adorable. Bear is neat, too.
There may be some truth in that review. Muppets haven't had a very good history when it comes to video games with that license.
Fortunately, not all Muppet games are bad. At E3 I played Muppet Race Mayhem. I didn't like it then, but it may have been an early version. After reading the...
Only thing I can remember about it (and I could be wrong) is that I saw it a few years ago as little shorts on Nick Jr. and the only shorts I remember from it were Andy and Randy cleaning their room and Robin and the Frog Scouts.
Ah, Andy and Randy, what a couple of hoots. They try so hard...
Oh I imagine puppetry would be a great fun thing to do, but I don't have the time and resources right now to be doing that. I'm just happy watching the Jim Henson stuff. I like that predictable yet charming Henson style of humor.

I'm new here so I imagine there's tons of these "what are your favorite Muppet" threads so I just picked one at random.
I always looked forward to the Swedish Chef bits on the Muppet Show. That's why he's my favorite. Hey, did you know he even had his own breakfast cereal at one point? I...
For me I don't know if there were any truly scary Muppets, but some of them, even on Sesame Street, looked and did things that were kind of a little edgy and probably made me and many a kid slightly uncomfortable. All the stories mentioned here are great examples. But since I loved watching...
My favorite fraggle was Boober. I liked his hat, and when I was little I thought it was so nice of him to do laundry for everyone else. That kind of inspired me to be more helpful around the house when I was little and so then on I helped do the laundry for everyone in the family. That habit...
Hey. I'm new here. Love the Muppets. Thought I was a big Muppet fan, but after coming here I think I'm a bit outclassed!
My favorite Muppets are The Swedish Chef, Rizzo the Rat, and Joe the Armadillo.
My favorite Sesame Street characters are Oscar the Grouch and those Yup Yup Aliens...
