Now what's going on with YouTube?

:sigh: :sigh: :sigh: I guess YouTube has realized it's been a while, so all week long, they've been bombarding me with recommended channels they want me to subscribe to when I'm not froggin' interested.

That's now on my bucket list: go to McDonald's and eat my food in the bathroom.

    Learn Something New Everyday Thread

This whole thing about Dunkin' is such a nontroversy anyway . . . almost everybody refers to them as simply "Dunkin'" anyway, so why are people getting bent out of shape about it?

The “What did you do today?” thread

I managed to not kill myself at a buffet this afternoon: I just got less of the same things I always get. So proud.

Hey, three years is actually good compared to previous machines I've gone through that have started dying within months.

    Unpopular Opinions

I don't think Tom Hanks is the spitting image of Mister Rogers as everyone else says he is. I mean, don't get me wrong, I like Tom Hanks, but I'm not convinced.

The New What Made You Frown Today Thread

There isn't much typical, it depends. Maybe one at the least, two at the most - but this isn't necessarily every single day, mind you. Sometimes I may use it daily, other times maybe once a week. Mine is a VCR/DVD recorder combo.

    Little things we've noticed

Now here's one: toward the end of the Twilight parody, when we dissolve to Belly and Shortbreadward's wedding day, Shortbreadward suddenly gets a huge pot belly out of nowhere! If I didn't know any better, I'd think Belly somehow got Shortbreadward pregnant! They even pet his belly like he's...

    Little things we've noticed

I've noticed something similar in the "St. Ives" bit, where the purple AM says, "I was the only one going to St. Ives, 'cause all the others were goin' the wr-- the other way."

The New What Made You Frown Today Thread

Of course, part of the problem could be I still watch more tapes than I do anything else - I'm probably wearing the machines out.

The New What Made You Frown Today Thread

They're so cheaply made anymore, they never last. Just in the last decade, I've gone through about half a dozen units . . . and now they're not made anymore. At all. Maybe my mom will let me borrow hers again - it's, ironically, the same brand, but it's still been going strong for like nearly...

Well, I'm surprised it's survived this long, but it would seem that after three years, my current VCR is dying now too.

YUCK! What grossed you out today?

Because I like butterscotch puddin' on occasion. Then again, I just like butterscotch on occasion, period.

    The "You know what?" thread

If you listen to Edwin Starr's "War (What is it Good For?)" on YouTube, you'll see only two kinds of comments: 1. People who faceteously comment that the song gets them pumped up and wanting to prepare to go to war. 2. People who take them seriously and whine that they completely missed the...

None Like it Hot: The "I Hate the Heat" Club

:grouchy: :grouchy: :grouchy: We've got rain all week this week. Messy, messy. But we're not seeing any cool weather in the forecast in the foreseeable future: mostly just 70s and 80s. Which, I mean, yeah, that's kinda normal for this time of year, but we'll usually at least see a few odd days...

Sesame Street Season 50 News and Rumors

I think this may have been from that workshop they were having back in 2013 or 2014 - the one where a bunch of us received one of the same two mass rejection notices.

Who doesn't like the new SW logo?

The glow effect was added by me as just a visual aid of what I thought would make the logo look spiffier. This is what the actual new logo looks like:
