You dont like that "novelty" word ! The muppets are novel, that is a different look at something.I dont know why it is making you cringe, but lets agree to disagree.
I guess you start knowing something is wrong when the Muppet Show gets a midnight timeslot.
Plus the original TV station drops...
Certainly that market is there, with Muppetfest and the retro products, but not exclusively, and if you look at most of the products, it is children's toys.(and i state most, but not all).
Gonzo is still listed on MR muppets section.(Spring release).Somehow I cant see MR releasing action figures, so I am thinking that the Electric Mayhem will be a group statuette in a memorable scene set-up like the Disney statuettes. But I could be wrong.I was wrong once before, back in 1984 LOL!
Certainly, but there are a lot of simularities between Sesame Street and The Muppet Show.Indeed they both have puppets in them, but they also have skits, songs and dances, human interaction. The differences are how they are set(one on the street and the other in a theatre) and one is educational...
You will probably find that a lot of Production companies wont accept suggestions, script ideas or contributions from outside sources due to people saying hey, that was my idea and litergation. Some may accept it if you submit it through an Agent.
I think the muppets have a childrens demographic because most Adults know that they have been around for years and it doesnt excite them anymore, whereas kids are young and it is all new to them.plus there is always new kids coming into the world, so you have an on going market.Look how long...
Strikes dont necessarily have to holt productions. The Strikes are in America, but there is a whole World out there which isnt.Muppet productions have been in England and canada and partially in Australia(Fraggle Rock segments).
I would love the muppets to do a total project Down under.Disney...
Unfortuately, that is why the Muppets are now working on secret projects. It is a no win situation. When they dont announce anything, Fans think nothing is happening, and when they do tell us and it gets changed or cancelled, the Fans are disappointed again.
Great work. That is exactly how I would picture a grown up skeeter-Scooter with long hair, as they looked the same when they were young.just need to refine the mouth hems a little, which will come with more experience.
 Can someone please help me with this photo? who is the lady in this picture? It looks like Dinah Shore, but she wasnt a guest on the muppet Show, or is this from one of her Specials?
