Is the "Wedding of the Century 2-pack" the Palisades figures of Kermit & Piggy that were given at Ken Lilly's wedding? If it is, I saw a set on e-bay several MONTHS back that started at $300. Otherwise, you've got some REALLY tough stuff on your list!
That's INSANE! I had all those as a kid, the ones not shown too, but those aren't even on card! I am proud to say that I have the Kermit on card, but I know for a fact he's only worth $7. Who's got 10 G's for that? That guy must be nuts.
Wow, I'm kind of shocked MFS was voted so poorly! I personally liked it. Now, this is weird but, I can't say that I disliked KSY, I just never got through it. Bottom of the list? It's a very Merry Muppet Piece of Garbage. Ha! Sorry, I don't mean to sound that upset at the piece.
But seriously...
You totally lost me on this.
I agree with most of you that the classic three movies are to be taken with a tounge in cheek view. MFS may be muppet fact, but MTM and GMC can't. In MTM, they ALWAYS break the 4th wall that this is a movie and joke with it. Besides, the idea that they all went to...
Not speaking for the salaries of those on Sesame Street, but I'm a graphic designer/illustrator for a huge non-profit organization, and I do pretty well, enough to support my wife and I as the sole bread winner, so there's always hope.
So there was this show in Japan called Takeshi's Castle that had contestants do really dangerous stunts. Spike TV took it, dubbed over everything, made it really funny, Called it "Most Extreme Elimination Challenge" and named the hosts Kenny Blankenship and Vic Romano, so that's my unoriginal...
The radio is phenominal, what a super selection. It's all I listen to at work. So much variety. Tremendous job, Phil. Very excellent, the only flaw is that it makes me want every song on there, and most of 'em are impossible to get, at least MC radio gives me my fix.
I'm sure I already know the answer to this (That answer being a big fat stinking "NO"), but MC Radio plays a lot of the instrumental music from the foyer in Muppet Vision 3D at Disney. Now I know the last time I was there (late 2001) there were these machines throughout the parks that you could...
Tight joints are good. Palisades is good at designing them so they stay tight too. I have about seven Kermits from series one. They take a lot of abuse from the attention I give them showing them off, especially the one in my office. His joints are still nice and tight, it's his non-jointed...
Their website isn't very detailed about this sort of thing either, it looks like it's just movie screenings. And while that's very very cool, I'd like to see the muppeteers themselves as well as anything else there. Here's BAM's page about all of it:
