The important thing is what fans call and consider them... from Fraggles to frogs, Koozebanians to Carrots, Big Birds to Bears in blue houses, monsters to Mayhem members and Grumpy old men to Grover, we all know, refer to, and love them as Muppets.

It's not so much the puppeteers (although there are some performances I don't care for) who worry me, but the writers and directors. Making Muppet magic relys heavily on them.

There's a user here named "BeeGee" who's avatar is a Bert "Little People" I think, so there's obviously a Bert.
