That was actually pretty good. I like Pepe commenting on the absurdity of the post office being like that. Gonzo jumping on the conveyor belt was classic as well. It reminded me of GMC where he got his nose stuck and tells Fozzie he's got to try it. The werido is weird again. Bloomberg's...
David sounded nothing like Scooter on DC studio live. Ricky was far better and should continue. Brian was good as well. David's Scooter just sounded like every other character he does.
That seems odd to me since David Rudman doesn't perform any other muppet show characters, at least none I know of. I suppose he could perform a decent Sal. Seems like a character he could do, if Sal is even around anymore.
I don;t really see how you can see this as a pattern for performers characters since 2 spots are taken by Frank. I see it more as a pattern of main characters. So I would expect Gonzo or maybe Animal.
That was the point I was making to you. Obviously the voices sound like they have changed. What's important is the characterization which, at least with Fozzie, is spot on making it much easier to accept.
Wow, they actually look as good as the promo pics. I was worried how eye placement would be based on the site, but they seem to have good eye focus. How is the size? How do they feel when performing? They still seem a bit small, in the mouth.
I really need one.
Muppet Show extras are Whatnots and Sesame Street extras are Anything Muppets. Same concept, different names and in some cases styles. If you compare Anything muppets to the older Whatnot designs you'll notice the Anythings are simpler. Scooter is an example of an old Whatnot design. To me...
It sounded like it was a lot of improv to me. Bill usually improves his characters as dumb. Look at his top 3. Pepe, Bob, and Jonny. All dull witted. pepe is the brightest of the bunch, but he usually comes off as dumb, usually through a misunderstanding. Not to say he isn't funny, but...
Yeah that was really good. I wonder how they did that.
Edit: I just compared Jim Henson's Rowlf to Bill's and they are actually nearly identical in sound. I think if bobo had never existed I'd be much more excepting of Rowlf.
It's so very cool, but are these really muppet quality puppets for 90 bucks? I want one like NOW but want to wait and see what the real product looks like. I maybe have to be there opening day and get mine in person.
What....is....that?
Yeah I think some kind of Daily Wisdom thing could be funny or a bit with corny over the top jokes. Heck, lets see a new Vets hospital skit done or Pigs In Space. Those kind of bits would be perfect for youtube. All the old ones are already on there anyway.

Interesting. I don't think Bill is getting the Rowlf character down though. He's too Bobo-ish. Not just the voice, the personality too. Bill's characters seem to play it dumb where as Rowlf was more of a dry quick wit. Ending was funny...
