Oh wow Paul, I didn't know you were actually on here. Thanks for making those videos. They were a good push forward in making puppets.
I can't buy it right at the moment but thank you for writing and offereing the book. I will probably buy it sometime in the near future though. I have one...
Ah, I see, that makes sense. In the picture his hair spans between both of his earmuffs. Just using that as a reference, have you tried simply just drawing his hair over a smaller amount of space? So for example, in this picture, his hair would have a few inches of space between it and his muffs?
Great, now I'm gonna be listening for that when I watch it next time :shifty:. What also makes it sad was I also realized what the music behind it was. It was "Bless Us All" played on the horn that plays a lot of little segments throught the film (I'm pretty sure it's an english horn or french...
Oh that's so cute. I love everyone's reaction to it (especially Red and Boober)
As for Wembley's hair, have you tried drawing it by just starting with a strand or two instead of trying to draw a full amount (if that makes sense)?
It seems as if Boober likes to do things a long the lines of finer cuisine so maybe, I dunno, fast food? Or he'd be one of those fraggles that can't boil water?
I always thought that too of Sidebottom. I had one brief thought that Boober had multiple personalities but quelled that thought almost instantly, partly because he makes a concious effort to switch personalities and it doesn't just randomly happen (also the fact that it's a kids show). I always...
I guess that makes sense(wow you appear to have thought about that for a while) And it could just be that Wembley looks that way because he acts that way.
That is too cute. I think you're getting better at his hair. One question though, is he supposed to be the parental type in this picture because I think he looks too young. But it is a cute little picture though. It's kinda got a passing the torch quality to it in likght of the "pebble pox...
Kohls does this thing where they sell books and related stuffed animals for five dollars and then give the profits to charity. It'd be cool if maybe they partnered up with the muppets and sold like a Kermit, Piggy and Fozzie plush and pulled together a few picture books to go with them.
Oh wow, I love the contrast in costume design on those two. And I love the postures. Sidebottom is a great character but sometimes he drives me crazy when he gets into a nothing but play mood. But I like it when he gets into his more genuine, caring characteristics. The positions of the...
I think the same thing about my Gonzo plush. Every time I toss him somwehere (my bed, car, etc) he ends up in a headstand :concern: (but that's a little off topic, sorry)
