Gonzo in the purple tux? Going to make the proto-Strangepork pig from Season One?

In another thread I recently...
Yeah, I've still got him. And speaking of the Angel of Death skit... would you believe I *never* saw that TV special until like last year?
I immediately did a little sketch of a tux Beaker re-dressed with a cloak and some folded-paper wings.
By the way, Count, I haven't forgotten about...
Email me at Ploovo241@aol.com and we can discuss what figure you want and possible prices, etc. I generally require that the buyer provide the figure(s) necessary, by the way.
Hey, Muppetaz... I know that name from YouTube... didn't you just email me yesterday about the Fozzie backdrop...
No problem, happy to help. Glad he arrived back home so quickly.

In other news, I got the conclusion of my Leprechaun Bros. video fully edited yesterday and finally uploaded just now!

Maybe it's just Del in drag as a nanny in that one clip that makes me think of Howard.
Where can I find other clips of Del where he's speaking in his regular voice?

Just Windows Movie Maker at the moment. It's very finicky. When it works, it's great, but when it's irritable, it's a nightmare.
I was ALSO having problems getting a shorter video to upload to YouTube, but that has now been fixed.
Remember Taylor asking me how to repair a broken-handed Floyd...
Yeah, I thought about giving them all matching pants, maybe green like their tams. But I liked the checked patterns on Beaker and Chef's pants and chose to preserve those Palisades paint jobs as much as possible. Which meant Animal's pants had to stay 'factory' as well.
It makes sense in a...
Hey!
I located an old composition notebook in which I had scribbled many many ideas for Muppet customs. As I flipped through it, I was a bit embarassed at how many half-finished and never-begun concepts there were.
But one of the last entries was a brainstorm that I never did follow up on...
My new inspiration!
A friend of mine linked me to this posted on a Disney forum...

Warning... get a drool rag before you follow the link.
This thing is gorgeous!

You know, I hadn't thought of that. I've got a rainbow assortment of glitter glue left over from the pack I bought around Christmas to finish the Saltine commission, but it never occurred to me I might have difficulty with the articulation.
On Saltine, only the waist joint got glitter-glue...
Give that GonzoLover a see-gar!
Yes, I am making the Broadway costumes, so I sent a Kermit-sized top-hat and a Fozzie-sized one to a fellow customizer to make molds for me and run off some duplicates. Now that I had this brainstorm, I can think of all sorts of other customs that need recast...
Hi Adam,
I haven't been there yet, but I'm hoping this summer I can take my sons to the Center for Puppetry Arts in Atlanta GA where they have some original Muppets on display like Link Hogthrob, Dr. Strangepork, etc.
You might also want to find out what city is currently hosting the...
Thanks... I was amazed that I got all of the sweaters done on the last day; I really thought those would prove much more time-consuming.
I didn't quite get them all painted by midnight, so I still missed the deadline. But that's the great thing about self-imposed deadlines. You don't really...
Happy St. Patrick's Day!
Well, quite a day for this thread... Taylor mailed off his Floyd for me to fix, and I got the sculpts finished for the Leprechaun Bros. just now...
Is it bad of me that I can't tell the difference between Del and Howard Tubman?
Oh well... I always thought Link Hogthrob and Harrison Fox were too similar too.
Alex
I forget the term, but national shows sometimes build in a spot where the local carriers can run a station ID, ad for the local news etc, or even local business commercials.
I think that's just an organic accident of the fact that both puppeteers were doing their puppets right-handed. If...
I don't recall hearing about the acne scars as the reason for the beard, but it makes sense.
I too struggled with bad acne as a teen, and was put on an experimental dosage of medication that they warned could make me sterile. I'm not, but one of my sons has cerebral palsy, and I've wondered...
Yeah, I really hate it when they move the pupils on the puppets in publicity photos... trying to give them a focal point after the fact or whatever. Makes you wonder if they do that to photos of humans more than we realize, if they're that casual about it.
I think the worst example I've seen...
