Exactly. I mean, c'mon, TV Land and Noggin are sister networks. If you want to show a real good children's series, why not show the 1969-1989 episodes of "Sesame Street?" That's a real classic. And when I watch it, I don't feel "high."
Yeah, you're probably right. You know who should've starred in it? The multi-talented (and ultra-fine) Gwen Stefani. It says on the No Doubt website that one of her heroes is none other than Kermit the Frog himself.
Tiny Toons is on Nick, and Animaniacs and Pinky and the Brain (as well as the classic Charlie Brown and Snoopy Show, might I add) are on digital cable's Nicktoons TV.
Please, like Disney is scared of Henson. Henson is fighting to stay alive after all the crap they've been through the past few years, and they certainly have no money to build an amusement park. Henson is better off riding Disney's (or whoever else's) coattails so they can actually DO things...
Though we know it will all be for nought. There'll be speculation on the boards, thinking D and H will work together again and have some big partnership (which will never happen), then it'll die down and be followed by months of silence. It's just another vicious cycle in the multi-year...

Please do, Bean. Please do. :)
I just wonder if this will be IT. Could Disney and Henson finally have some sort of partnership which we have been speculating about for the past many years???
I doubt it.
Yes, Disney and Henson should expand their relationship. Disney has had a bigger interest in the Muppets than anyone else, and Henson NEEDS a partner so they can get back on track.
As for Eisner, I am not anti-Eisner, but he just needs to go. I think he has just lost his way in the past few...
Shoot, I almost forgot! Happy 6th B-Day, MC!
1. What is your first Muppet Central memory?
I don't quite remember, but one of my earliest memories was the news concerning The Kermit Channel and how it might come to the U.S. in the spring in '98.
2. What is your favorite part of Muppet...

Statement by Roy E. Disney on Closure of Walt Disney Florida Feature Animation Facility
BURBANK, Calif., Jan. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- The following is a statement issued by Roy E. Disney:
Closure of the Walt Disney Florida Feature Animation facility is yet another example...
YES. But Disney Channel, though more successful, needs to be about Disney but times change I guess, so I guess I can't blame them. TOON Disney on the other hand, yeesh, there is NO excuse in the world they can't donate a half-hour or an hour each day to old Disney cartoon classics. NO excuse...
Don't know about #18, but #16 I would definitely go for.
I got a better idea: Why not dump ALL the current Disney Channel shows and movies onto ABC Family (big ratings!) and turn THE Disney Channel back to the way it was 8 years ago so it can TRULY live up to its name and heritage.
Hope...
