Yes, November 26th. I wish I could find a good web page to link to! Here is one from station WGBH about the show (no new info, though:)

Hi all - I know many of us here are also Electric Company fans, so I wanted to let you know about an Electric Company special airing soon on PBS! It's called "The Electric Company's greatest hits and bits." It's airing in my area on Sunday the 26th. Just as a warning, it looks like it will be on...
This is indeed good news, Boober_Gorg! I've also been hoping that the Joe Raposo version of that song would appear again someday. I don't like the edits either, but I'm thankful they're at least trying to make up for it by providing more rare clips.
I can't wait to hear Joe sing it again...
Rare classic songs
This thread got me to thinking - It seems like many of the songs we associate with "classic" Sesame Street were actually seldom shown on the program. For example, Joe Raposo's "Sing" is certainly a Sesame St. classic, but I can actually only recall seeing it on the show once...
Hi - I apologize if this is old news, but I haven't seen this mentioned anywhere, so I wanted to pass it along. Roscoe Orman has written his memoirs! It looks like an interesting book that covers not only his Sesame Street years but his overall acting career. It's called "Sesame Street Dad." All...
Madigral alphabet
Hi- It sounds like you're talking about a cartoon called "Madigral alphabet". It's a beautiful piece that I've always enjoyed. I love the music too, and I wish I knew if it were taken from a piece of classical music, or if the music were written especially for the cartoon. I...
Hi- I think I know the one you mean. Its title is "Numeral Correspondence" or something like that, and it was featured on one of the early Sesame St. record albums ("The Count Counts", I think). And I'm not 100% sure, but I think I recall seeing it in one of the Noggin episodes as well. Can...
Hi- The doll appeared in part two of a great rare two-part skit where Ernie had lost his rubber duckie and Oscar offered to replace it. Not understanding what Ernie wanted, Oscar brought Ernie the doll. I don't think it actually had a name, but it was definitely a weird doll. :) I'd love to see...
Milk crisis film
Hi- The "milk crisis film" was a favorite in my house as well! I wish I knew more about it, but here goes:
I'm not sure exactly which year it was first shown, but it was obviously the early to mid 1970s. It can be seen on an episode of "Sesame Street Unpaved", though I don't...
To answer your other questions, I don't recall the exact year, but I would guess around 1981 or so. Besides Leslie Mostly and Guy, the other muppets are mostly "anything muppets" as best as I recall, although I think the two-headed monster appeared as a member of Guy's studio audience.
Leslie Mostly
This is a fun skit that I recall from way back when. The premise is that it is an interview show with Leslie Mostly (a girl muppet) in the studio, while Guy Smiley appears on a large screen to be interviewed. The interview supposedly takes place in Guy's "house," which is set up...
Duckie is a toy
I'm glad you brought this up. It likely was indeed a "real" toy, because a friend of mine actually has one! It looks pretty much like the one you see in the first season episodes of Sesame Street - Mostly white with some orange markings on the wings & neck & head. It isn't...

Here are two from P.W.M.S. that I recall seeing:
"Me lost me cookie at the disco"
Cookie at the bakery- Cookie imagines a large cookie & "eats" it.
I'm sorry I missed Bert and Ernie and the "magic chain." I would have enjoyed seeing that one again!
I remember this one! It was actually Bob who was asked to hold the letter "L" as Uncle Wally sang the song to the viewer. I don't remember all the lyrics, but the refrain was "I'm always Uncle Wally to you." During the song, Bob stood behind Uncle Wally holding the "L" and getting a rather...
Toys to machines film
Hi- I'm not sure if this is the one you're thinking of, but there was a film that began with several mechanical toys in a sort of dark room. There was some soft music playing in the background at first, then the toys began to "come to life" - I think there was indeed a toy...
What's it like to be in school?
Yes, that sounds like "What's it like to be in School?" You can find the lyrics at the site above, or you can visit the Sesame St. lyrics archive at:
http://www.tinyd.net/school2.html
It is an older film. During the film, the song is sung twice: Once when...
You folks are correct - sorry about the mix-up. My friend tells me that he's unaware of any video (other than from a concert) of the Carpenters performing "Sing."
