    What happened to Guy Smiley?

I never thought of that. But once again, kids don't like those old characters anymore. They're too complicated, and outdated. And also, they don't really like to have all those minor characters, they like to stick with the main ones.

Your Thoughts: Sesame Street Season 34

It was actually Christopher Cerf from Sesame Street who told me all those things. Because he used to work on the show, he was a major songwriter. He's the one who invented all those rock parodies, and he was Chris of Chris and the Alphabeats, and has sung many times on the show. But they never...

What year did Sesame Street News debut?

I believe the very first one was the one with Rapunzel from Season 4, and the very last one was the one where he interviews the bird in the park whose parents are divorced, and she sings about it from Season 21. There's also another one from that same year with Old MacDonald's health farm.

Your Thoughts: Sesame Street Season 34

What I have said in the past is that Elmo is pretty much the only character kids like now. They don't like those old characters anymore, because they're too old. Maybe they'll use them occasionally on Elmo's World, like they do now, but that's it.

    Which season aired when?

The new season always used to start in November, as far as I can recall. Then starting in Season 31, it went to January. Then in 33, it was February. And now it's April. I think it's because they couldn't get everything done in time.

    Video clip?

It WAS on the video "Rock & Roll", but I don't think it's still in print. You might be able to find a used copy of it.

Your Thoughts: Sesame Street Season 34

I believe they're all set for Seasons 35 and 36, but we don't know what will happen after 36. The show really is in danger of being cancelled, or turning into 100% Elmo's World. Let's just hope for the best.

I sure miss those shows from Season 25! Are they REALLY outdated? Remember Scotter_101? He hasn't been here for ages, but he would probably remember the original airing of this show from Season 23. And don't forget that great song "Elbows And Knees", which was in there too! It also had...

DVD Series of every Sesame Street episode ever made

Well, that's basically why they're doing away with Unpaved, because not enough people are watching. And that's why they probably won't do the DVD series. I know they do have one for the Muppets, but I don't think people like the old Sesame Street as much. You're right, adults don't like to spend...

Your Thoughts: Sesame Street Season 34

Well, they sure did sing a lot of old, classic songs. Rosita did that old Cecille song "I'm Gonna Get To You", and I didn't like the new version at all. But then they used that number 2 song with Chris Cerf singing, and then the classic Number 2 Train animation. But it was sweetened a little...

Sonny Friendly was actually performed by Richard Hunt originally. He is one of the few Muppets that was actually replaced by David Rudman. But the show you described was actually Richard Hunt with the word "HOT," because that episode originally aired in Season 23, and then it got re-aired in...

Your Thoughts: Sesame Street Season 34

Oh, no. It's back. What part of the show was it in? I'm assuming it may have been between the street scene and Journey to Ernie. I haven't watched today's episode yet, so I'll see.

DVD Series of every Sesame Street episode ever made

You see, I just happen to like a lot of the songs and sketches that were never very popular to begin with. It would be wonderful for something like that to happen, but for some reason, I don't think it will. Maybe a "best of" series, but it probably wouldn't have the stuff I want. I mean, Noggin...

DVD Series of every Sesame Street episode ever made

I was at Best Buy the other day, and they have a whole bunch of TV series being released on DVD. These include Friends, The Simpsons, South Park, and many others. It's like you can buy 7 seasons of each series on DVD. And they will come out with more and more. Now I think they should do that...

The Complete History of Mahna Mahna and his alter ego Bip Bipadotta

I don't ever recall the Ambrooze Sisters being on the show. There was a lot of stuff on those old records that was never on the show.

The Complete History of Mahna Mahna and his alter ego Bip Bipadotta

Okay this is really complicated. The song "Everybody's Song" was on an album called Everybody's Record, which was done in 1979. It was sung by Bip Bippadotta and the Ambrooze Sisters. But apparently, it was never done on the show until 1984, and they were called the Oinker Sisters. But it is...

    Cookie Dresses Up Like Ernie

As a matter of fact, there was. Bert stares at his plate of cookies, and sees they have been taken. So he yells at Ernie to come in, expecting Ernie to know why he's mad, and Ernie has no clue. He explained to him about the word "cookie", and then Ernie gets his great big plate of cookies...
