    Where's the Pinball 1-12 song?

Because they're too old-fashioned. They don't really like the old stuff anymore, they like more modern things.

    Very FIRST major Muppets Album

Sadly, I think it's because not enough people care about it. Was it ever released on cassette? I don't think they had cassettes all the way back then, I think it was only on record.

    Who performs Crissie?

I think it was usually Jim Henson in the old days. You know, just about everything with Chrissie was on Noggin, except The Opposite Song. Remember that one?

    The new SESAME STREET logo

This is very true. It had always been very similar from the early years up until Season 22. It was Season 23 when they started to fiddle with it, and Season 25 when it really started to go bad. Here's a timeline of all the changes that we didn't like: Season 23: Whole bunch of new characters...

Ernie's "Quiet Time (My Apple Tree and Me) Song"

But I'm saying that giving out that information on this website would be doing something bad with the information.

    The new SESAME STREET logo

That's why I think those stupid people at Noggin should have kept it!

Speaking of SS, anyone here miss THE ELECTRIC COMPANY?

Your Thoughts: Play With Me Sesame Season 2

I think they need more episodes, but it's nice to know they still use old clips.

Play With Me Sesame Season 2 rescheduled for June

I remember that, too. You could hear a phone being dialed. I don't know what that came from. But sometimes there may be some defect in the tape itself.

Your Thoughts: Play With Me Sesame Season 2

Also, on today's show, I saw a very old Bert & Ernie sketch that I had never seen before! If any of you saw it, it was "Ernie and The Magic Chain."

Your Thoughts: Play With Me Sesame Season 2

That's true. I mean, in the early 90s, when I first heard Steve Whitmire, I couldn't stand it. Same with David Rudman's Cookie Monster, and even Matt Vogel's Big Bird. Eric Jacobson does an okay job, but not as bad as David Rudman. He sounds more like Baby Bear with a sore throat.

    Who performs Crissie?

Okay, that doesn't have much to do with this thread. But it was somewhat appropriate, because he did do the song "Born to Add," which was a very well-known song of his. He was not a muppeteer. He was a composer/lyricist, and he did voice, and he played the piano. Chris was his main muppet...

Your Thoughts: Play With Me Sesame Season 2

I did notice that. I thought it sounded like Matt Vogel. But I could not stand it.

    Which Unpaved was last week?

Well, it looks like Unpaved sure is gone. And I do see your point. The teacher told me that the prom may not be the best place where people will want to talk about Sesame Street. It's a time when people are acting very grown-up. That is, they don't wanna think about when they were kids. So...

    Sesame Street Encyclopedia Update

The Ernestine that was the telephone operator is completely different than Baby Ernestine. She was a human, not a muppet.

    Who performs Crissie?

He was performed by a very talented man named Christopher Cerf. Chris was also a major songwriter for the show. He is very under-appreciated, but Chris Cerf is definitely my favorite person from Sesame Street. I know him personally, and I am a very big fan of his. He even autographed me a copy...

Your Thoughts: Play With Me Sesame Season 2

Well, I watched it this morning at 8, and it had quite a few old clips. It had Kermit trying to talk about happy and sad, and Elmo got sad when Kermit didn't have time to play with him. It also had the "Hair Brush" song sung by the Cereal Girl. It also had a very old Bert & Ernie sketch where...

    Helen Reddy on Sesame Street

There was a real song of hers that was parodied. It was a song called "I Am Chicken," I believe it went to the tune of "I Am Woman."

Ernie's "Quiet Time (My Apple Tree and Me) Song"

I actually agree with that, and I wish it was. I think it's only because the system also has some confidential information, like people's salaries, and stuff like that. Maybe they can make it available to the public, once they keep that confidential stuff private.

    Koyaanisqatsi inspires Sesame art film?

I thought it was quite appropriate.
