Well said. I couldn't agree more. Love the Rock-like Fraggle Boxed set idea. -Artie

    I switched Piggy heads!!

Well Ken ol' buddy, if you really wanna make it up to us you can give us a hair down Piggy, with her newly approved heftier body, in her classic outfit (light purple, with blue sash) in maybe a dressing room playset? In fact you can give the playset stilts so that it will fit onto the backstage...

    Ask Ken at Palisades

Great minds think alike Aerosmith! I had that idea a few days ago and passed it on to Ken. He seemed to be open to it as a possibility. I hope we see it come to fruition! -Artie

    Ask Ken at Palisades

Zack I see your point Zack and agree that if the line ended and we had variants as opposed to the regular figures that it would stink, but you have to remember that loyal Muppet fans aren't the only ones this line is marketed towards. Lets say a casual Muppet fan, we'll call him Joe, goes...

You know we've run out of things to talk about when we resort to picking apart cat-men and twist-ties. :) -Artie

    In the box or out?

I open the first set and then when I get the extra money and if I feel it's necessary I buy a second set. With the Muppets it is necessary. I did buy two sets of Star Wars for years but like many others, I stopped because there was just too much stuff. Now I only buy Star Wars to open. -Artie

    Igel Beaker Needed

$30 for both?! That's nuts. I had to pay like $80 to have them shipped form Germany, and then once I spent the money, my parents ordered a set for me for Christmas from (you guessed it) Germany. so my family has spent $160 on Beaker/Bunsen sets. -Artie

    Dangerous Beakie?

Hey guys, Here's a word to the wise, don't ever try and bring the Muppet Labs playset on an airplane as a carry-on. I guess all the high tech gadgetry that Dr. Bunsen Honeydew and his Assistant Beaker have been working on looks to the untrained eye like terrorist fodder!:) The guards ripped...

    Varient Floyd

Hey guys, Here's my definition of a hardcore figure collector: When I was in college Star Wars was releasing a line of figures called Shadows of the Empire. This is the period in my life that I refer to as "The Dark Times." Shadows was a line based on a book which took place between...

    What is the Koozebane

In my opinion, if koosebane is half as hard to find as Muppet Labs, you'll actually have people on the hunt for this playset. And being that one can only assume that they'll produce less then they did Muppet Labs because of its obscurity, it might well turn into a collectors piece. I searched...

    Ask Ken at Palisades

Hey guys, I also love Tux Rowlf, but I share some of your fears that if the line gets canceled after series 4 that we are gonna have a mixed bunch of characters standing next to each other. But I would guess, and this is a big guess, that if the line got canceled the the characters that are...

Palisades Mega Muppet line debuts this Winter

Here's my opinion... Although Beaker wouldn't have been my first choice (just for selfish reasons because he's not one my favorite characters) I think Palisades made a smart choice. Large scale figures are what I refer to as "College Dorm Collectibles" meaning that college aged kids...

No variants fro series 3? Hey Ken, When you say no variants for series 3 other than Zoot repaint, does that include, no Rowlf Tux or Scooter Superhero? Just wondering, -Artie

Anyone interested in obtaining customized Muppet figures?

Hey guys, it's Artie In one of the other threads, Luke made a joke about me starting "Artie's Toys", and although I have no plans on starting an all-out business, I have thought about making some of my custom figures available for MC and Toughpigs Members. Would anyone be interested? They...

Artie's Series One Custom Figure #3

Hey guys, I think you guys might like this one. I'll keep it a surprise. Check it out: http://members.aol.com/mrthefrog/piggy.jpg I took some liberties with it, and based it on a combination of the show and a pic from Muppet Magazine. I may add a belt still, but I'm not sure yet...
