    The Chipmunks

Yes, at least two of the three songs by the Knack on "Chipmunk Punk" are like that...I won't mention anything specific, but they remove certain lines that are unfit for kids, but leave others. But on a side note, the Chipmunks take on "My Sharona" has heavier guitars than the Knack original! Wow!

"Earl Sinclair one of 1992's the most handsome men on TV"

Yes, even when he acted like he didn't care about an important issue, eventually it would click and he would show his true colors. So you're 100% correct!:D

Absolutely!:insatiable: I'm so glad to hear that regarding the He-Man She-Ra Christmas special, and the Thundercats second set! And having such things all these years later really adds something special to it all. I'm grateful for hearing from everyone who participated on these releases.

Great list of great 80's shows! In defense of Strawberry Shortcake, though I haven't seen it in years (and shows like that can be thought of as "too cute" by some) if you compare any of those originals (like Strawberry) to their 2000's/2010's remakes, the originals have much better writing and...

I know that our knowledge of such characters as done by Disney makes it hard for many to get into another take on it, but though I never saw "Happily" I know their "Pinocchio" is really great! Great voice cast, too! I guess the offers were there, and they did their takes on them. I don't know if...

Your Thoughts: "Pioneers of Television" with Jim Henson

The "Pioneers of Television" show will be on again: Eastern Time Thurs 12:30 AM Fri 9:30 PM PS I've now read this entire thread, and I don't know if someone else here said that Wallace and Ladmo got too much coverage, but I found their portions interesting, and my comment on them was more...

Your Thoughts: "Pioneers of Television" with Jim Henson

Without reading other posts in this thread first, I'd like to say that I was very impressed and happy with the special...it was quite touching. When Mr. Rogers laughed in an interview, I just thought, "What a lovely man." He's one of the very few on TV that you could just tell was a sincerely...

The Muppets’ Super Bowl: The Best Muppet Commercials of All Time

The Mastercard is one of my all time favorites, always...and it was nice to see it again. Great job! And I never saw the V-Chip one with Kermit and Pepe before...Pepe at his best! LOL to Pepe singing about his nightie!

"Pioneers of Television" to spotlight Jim Henson 2/8

Not too long now... It looks like the description I saw says it'll have more than just Jim in the episode, but I hope I'm wrong... I'd like Jim only, of course!

    DVD/VCR Recorder Recommendations

This may be true, since I didn't buy the one I saw recently. But the one I got from there a few years back that did record from the TV/cable/satellite was by Magnavox. So hopefully the new one is still the same. But there were drawbacks - 1 It doesn't let you pause to remove commercials when...

    Any Ernst Fans?

Ernest does fall of ladders a lot (in Ernest Goes To Camp and others I think) I've seen: Hey Vern, It's My Family Album Dr. Otto & The Riddle Of The Gloom Beam Ernest Goes To Camp Ernest Saves Christmas Ernest Goes To Jail Ernest Goes To Splash Mountain Ernest Scared Stupid Ernest Rides Again...

    RIP Pete Postlethwaite

This is very sad indeed  Pete was an absolutely fantastic actor! And from interviews seemed like one heck of a nice man, and very thoughtful! Definitely one of those actors who everyone has seen in some films, and always memorable, despite not being a household name...a big loss...
