i've been way out of the loop- i've been checking most of the day and the master replica mainsite is down. what are we talking about on timeline for gonzo?
alright, i've been MIA for a while. but holy crap! i gotta get my hands on these photo puppets. i realized due to my tardiness i may have missed out on kermit... the links to the master replica site are down because the entire site in under construction.
i'm going to the other threads about the...
usually the widescreen version is always the original theatrical version, and that's the way film buffs like it! if the song wasn't in the theatrical release, then i wouldn't expect to see it in the widescreen version- it seems much more likely to me that it would be the full- but you never...
long time fan of the phantom 'london cast', and i have seen a stage production...
i applaud the effort on the movie as i can see it being hard to do justice to it's success on the stage. the most surprising and worst part of the movie- the phantom, i would have to blame that on andrew lloyd...
i don't see disney doing anything with the muppet babies, however i don't think it would fair horribly under the right circumstances. i understand the concerns that it contributes to the demise and downplay of the classic muppets, but i'm not sure any muppet shows would fair well in today's...
'into the woods' and 'peter pan' are definitely right up the muppets alley... it's very similar to other things they've done. however i think "singin' in the rain" might be interesting... "moulin rouge" (i though their "moulin scrooge" parts in the last christmas special were good)... do we dare...
while i do appreciate any efforts to bring the muppets more popularity and recognition, bringing them on tv to talk about how supposedly bad 'oz' was is a ridiculous idea. i'm sure everyone would agree that jim henson would not advocate the muppets on tv apologizing for themselves. you can't...
okay, i have just felt one of the biggest blows of jealously in my life... if i ever had the opportunity to see an actual skeksis from the dark crystal i'd probably just stand in aw until someone peeled me away. take a look at one of the pictures of hoggle and see how much bigger the skeksis...
'i'm going to go back there someday' [gonzo], 'saying goodbye' [cast], and there's something about a scene in 'follow that bird' when big bird is painted blue and singing behind bars that's just really sad...
wow, garfield and friends- that brings back memories of hours in front of the television... i actually remember that episode with the muppet babies reference- and remember thinking how cool it was that i watched both shows and got that refrence... god, i was a pathetic little kid. it's so...
true that the muppet babies may not have had quality animation or have been exactly the way jim would normally do things- however i still stand by the fact that it was quality programming for children and hundreds of times better than some of the crap on tv today. children's programming has gone...
disney has just deteriorated so much over the years it's ridiculous. i remember the days of when disney showed QUALITY movies (not made for tv crap with hillary duff and raven or made for television sequels or the latest 23rd land before time movie) without commercials... and the days when the...
i just received mine today. personally i think that's it's awesome. i've been listening to it ever since i received it. if anyone gets like a number 1 of 5000 or some low number like that, i'd like to know just out of curiosity. (i have 243/5000)
i just looked at the daily bit for 3/20/03 on the palisades site and in the second set on concept drawings for urbanimals there is a cool picture of kermit near the bottom of it. well i suppose it's not actually supposed to be kermit since it's an urbanimal, but it definitely is...:)...
