I haven't gotten my notice, but it sells cancelled on Entertainment Earth, too. I also don't want to give up hope. I have emailed Diamond to see if they are still planning an alternative method of distribution such as direct-selling. Will let you all know if they respond.

That's disappointing. I hope everyone takes the advice from the article and orders 1-3, preorders 4, and reaches out to Diamond and retailers to show interest. Maybe only a small bit of hope at this time, but worth giving it a try!

Too soon to tell at this point. Diamond has been a bit cryptic in their response, and said the sales of Series 3 action figures and pre-orders of 4 will determine if 4 is released. The minimates are done.

Diamond responded to a Facebook post from February 2017 stating that series 5 is a possibility: "If everyone pre-orders Series 4, maybe!" It's nice to hear they haven't ruled it out.

Phone orders over $99 at Entertainment Earth have free shipping. If you call to place your order and buy waves 3 and 4 together, you'd cut out the shipping costs, at least. The good thing about EE is they do not charge your credit card until the item is in stock, so you would be charged in waves...

Thanks for the update! Can you share which last few characters of minimates had been designed that you are pushing for?

Got it. I just thought not all accessories were ready at that time since they were in the early stages, but maybe the ones they added for 2017 were the additions, including the piano.

Palisades also had some huge delays between waves. I believe the gap between Palisades waves one and two was about six months (with the date being pushed back again and again), so this really doesn't feel all that strange to me. I am sure we will get series 3 of Diamond, and I am hopeful for 4.

I think if it was pessimistic they might just say Seems unlikely. Maybe right now they would like to, but it could go either way.

In today's Ask Diamond Select Toys, someone asked if there would be more Muppets past series 4, and they said no plans yet, they are waiting for sales, but they are very hopeful. Would you say hopeful is the same as optimistic? I hope so!
