Kermit translating the screaming frog was fun to watch. And he got to do "So you think you know the videos." That was great, and then Pepe came in.
"That's my cousin!"
Priceless :D
So, at the beginning of this they did another little blip about volunteer work. Does anyone know if the Muppets are just gonna keep showing up on different ABC shows each Sunday to keep promoting it?
Yea, I thought that it didn't seem as big as I was anticipating it to be. But I kinda chalked it up to it perhaps being either a spur of the moment thing or, they had to go with what was available. I still enjoyed the effort and just that little scene in general.
As for the Fozzie in post...
Oh no! I say we keep going until the entire musical is done in honor of Quesal. And let's add it to the list.
"You might be a Muppet fan if you all sychronize musical lyrics in honor of another fan's engagement."
Ernie:
Are they here yet, are they here yet, did I miss it, am I late?
Bert:
No...
Somebody get some flowers!
Somebody get a ring!
Somebody get a chapel and a choir to sing!
Somebody get an organ to play!
Cause somebody's getting married today!
Somebody get a preacher!
Somebody bake a cake!
Somebody get some shoes and rice and presents to take!
Somebody get a sweet...
Ack, sorry, got names mixed up
Yea, that's what it's usually like on a set. The general rule of thumb seems to be that unless someone asks for your help, don't try to be useful. Especially in specialty areas because you seem to get on the bad side of the professionals. It's a wierd feeling if...
Yea, I thought Beaker looked kinda weird at the end. But I've never seen the light up eyes version, so it kinda made up for it.
Did Steve have to sign a saftey waiver or something for that roof shot?
YAY for Sesame Street. Welcome, Jkeller
As for the doll, there is a merchandise section. If you ask about it there I'm sure someone could help you out.
Dude! That's just totally awesome that you got to work on that set for a bit. :excited:
As sad as I was to see that Rowlf didn't play the piano during the song it was cool to see Paul play.
Aw dude, that totally stinks. I'm sorry. Is there a way you can watch it online or something?
Did anybody else love Statler and Waldorf crying at the end?
And you've got to love the people who are doing it. It's actually kinda neat that they took the time to set that up, considering the time constraints that they have to finish everything. Plus, there are the people that actually DID tear down the house to consider. The showiness is all well and...
Oh I love this. Watching it right now. I love how they incorporate the fun of the Muppets into the show (i.e. Statler and Waldorf making jokes). I love how they almost nailgunned Gonzo into the wall. And Kermit having a demolition license and Piggy chopping down the house was priceless.
I got it on ebay, every so often people will sell it. I had a friend that was helping me out and so I was able to get it for only $32. It's a hit and miss thing really. Save a search for it on ebay and they'll tell you whenever one shows up.
That might be the case, that it's just instrumental...
You imagine yourself as a famous stand up comedian one day, giving an anecdote about your love for muppets in an attempt to introduce Gonzo so you can sing a song with him. And you're not a comedian.
Ask about this at your own risk.
SO, I got the Treasure Island soundtrack finally (it totally rocks) and I realized that there are two songs that the Electric Mayem plays in it that aren't on it. One is on the ship, all the rats are hanging out to it and Jim and Long John talk during it. The other is on the island when the...
Yea, my mom vetoed that the minute I said it.
I also wouldn't mind getting a bunch of people to perform it in full choreography and costume but don't tell her I said that.
Congradulations by the way
