Electric Mayhem in NY/Long Island area?
I know you don't want to order on line but it sounds like your best option. Shipping isn't actually too big of a deal. Especially on these figures. Animal and the drum set is very worth it! I ordered mine off of EB games online for less than $30. I don't regret it at all. Good Luck!- iamanimal

Muppet Figures: Where to buy??
I have ordered all of my figures from EB online. I have had good fortune with that. Good prices and ship times are pretty short. If you don't mind not picking out what figure you want, this is the best way. Gaurantees you get what you want!- iamanimal

Favorite Muppet Figure?
Animal or Beaker. I think Animal has the edge though. I mean, he is a drummer and all drummers are the coolest!- iamanimal

Figure Popularity
The only place I see them is at TRU and they sell out fast. Good to see. Animal didn't have enough time on the shelf to play a line on his drumset. Fozzie is going fast too. :)- iamanimal
