I forgot to mention that for some strange reason, I used to have a Between the Lions Little Golden Book. It still baffles me why I would want a book based on a show I didn't even like. Probably because it was called "Snow Day!", and I liked Little Golden Books, and again, obviously there was no opera in it; it didn't have sound buttons or anything. But still. The human brain works in its mysterious ways....

Christopher Cerf, one of the creators of the show, wanted to make it stream but GBH was not in favor of doing that. At least every episode can be watched now
A long time ago, I wrote a thread about if the ending of the 2003 SpongeBob episode "I Had an Accident" in which it pans out to show that it was being watched on TV by a family (see it here: https://muppetcentral.com/forum/thr...he-spongebob-episode-i-had-an-accident.20186/)
used the lion family from Between the Lions performed by the same puppeteers who performed them on the show (using the characters' actual puppets) instead of an unnamed family and at some point in the credits it would read under the "Guest Stars" section: ANTHONY ASBURY Lionel, PAM ARCIERO Leona, JENNIFER BARNHART Cleo PETER LINZ Theo and some of the last words of the credits would say "SPECIAL THANKS TO WGBH AND SIRIUS THINKING FOR ALLOWING CHARACTERS FROM THEIR TV SERIES "BETWEEN THE LIONS" IN THIS EPISODE." Since GBH was not in favor of having the show stream, does that mean that if Nickelodeon HAD used the lion family from Between the Lions for the ending of the aforementioned episode instead of an unnamed family, does that mean that for rereleases on Apple TV and streaming on Paramount Plus or anywhere that reruns of pre-2004 SpongeBob may be found, Nickelodeon would have had to redo the ending with an unnamed family under live actors anyway? Maybe GBH would have still let Nickelodeon keep that ending if it HAD been used, which it wasn't, because Theo and Cleo have been allowed to make appearances for the Expo Games.
