For what it’s worth mentioning - I have all of the Playhouse Muppet videos I was thankfully able to find through EXTREMELY huge dumb luck on eBay.
Unfortunately I haven’t had an actual video capturing card for over a decade now since my Windows XP computer kicked the bucket for good in 2015 (I miss that thing so much). So if it were up to me, I’d be more than happy to capture and share them all publicly but can’t.
The only thing close you’ll find to a full upload is a crappy old Windows XP capture I made off that device on my outdated Dailymotion account (Mst3kfan92) for “Rock Music with the Muppets.” There was also once an upload of “The Muppet Revue” back in 2014.
The last time I ever did any actual VHS capturing was with a friend I met in the Mst3k community who captured a Mr. Bill tape for me (it was his “Oh Noooooo! It’s Mr. Bill’s 20th Anniversary Special VHS) after previously doing business with him when he had captured both a VHS release of the movie “The Starfighters” (also featured on MST) that I (again) found through pure dumb luck off Etsy in 2021 and we spent the whole year of 2023 capturing my dad’s Comedy Central Mst3k tapes he made from November 1991 to December 1995 and a few Sci-fi tapes of the show I made in 2003 when I was 10 (that project was ****, lol), and honestly I would love it if he could capture those Muppet tapes for me…… but he’s been going through some pretty rough times this year, so I really don’t want to bother him too much at the moment.
But honestly, give it a couple years. I’m sure someone will upload all of them onto Internet Archive one day.
