    What sketches scared you as a kid?

    There was an unsettling short from the vintage era (early 70's, very early in the show's run) that seems to have vanished into the same rip in space and time as "Cracks" got lost in for so many years. I've trawled the episode guide for that period, and can't even find the sketch's "official"...

    Someone started a forum thread about this particular vintage SS sketch ten years ago. It's gratifying that other posters remember it, but no one seems to have seen it in years. Northern Calloway was dressed in some sort of Orientalist garb; judging by the background music (sitars, etc) I guess...

    Man, this is an old thread — but it's the only "honorable mention" I've ever seen of this sketch. I was beginning to think I'd imagined it. It left me with very similar feelings as the "Swami #20" animated short that was done in both English and Spanish. Very eerie, especially the music...
