    I don't mind at all. You would embed it in the under structure (the foam or plastic whatever you built the body of your puppet out of), I'd suggest either just above the paws or just under the knee. However, on further reflection I think the fishing line would be a better solution. Not only...

    You could tether the front and back legs together with fishing line or perhaps an acrylic rod so they move in tandem.

    Thank you for the enthusiasm. The process was inspired by a crafts channel I follow on facebook. Her method made a mouse, but I saw that it was easily modified. Surpreyes!

    We got invited to a birthday party for a friend's daughter. So, my wife and I made her some sock puppets! And here they are on my huge hands: Not the usual fare I know, but we had fun with them.

    While I was patterning the skin for my first puppet my wife leaned really hard on my shoulder and asked, " When do I get one?" Same rules apply as with Brewster it's gonna be a while before we complete her.
