I like many old clips including films/songs of Sesame Street from the 1970's and early 1980's. The Count and Oscar the Grouch are my favorite characters. My absolute very favorite clip on Sesame Street is the film/song "Pockets" with Marilyn Sokol singing about the importance of them. My mom watched a lot of Sesame Street with me and she would sing along whenever it (film/song "Pockets") was on Sesame Street. She also sang it around the house and she sang it to me especially when I was wearing overalls. I remember her putting overalls on me one day and as she sang,"What would we do without pockets?" Another time I hugged her from behind and said,"say it, say it" and then she sang,"What would we do without pockets?" She was wearing navy blue pull on pants with elastic waist and two side pockets. After she sang that she put her hands in her pockets. The very first time I remember watching "Pockets" was when I was really little and my mom had me on the toilet in the bathroom. She said,"Now you go pea-pee and then we'll watch pockets." When I seen the very first scene with the woman wearing the tan jacket with the flap and snap pocket on the chest it had my undivided attention especially when Marilyn sang,"What would we do without pockets?" I then thought that the woman was going to open the pocket.
