I just want to enjoy Matt's Kermit while we have it. I love Steve as a performer, but he's too high energy for Kermit. He did great in MCC and MTI, but as he made Kermit his own, he made him a bit too much like his other characters that are all high energy. Its also why I liked his Ernie more...
People seem to forget that Steve's Kermit was not widely accepted in the beginning. There were plenty of people on message boards, including this one, that complained about Steve for a long time.
Matt is a fine performer. No, the voice is not Jim's or Steve's, but at the core of the character...
Release order will not match the reveal order. All we know right now is that Big Bird is next for 2026 Q1 or Q2. Then a TBA figure and Oscar will be later in 2026, maybe Q3. Nothing else was nailed down as far as release order. Frazzle was apparently revealed by mistake and it doesn't have a...
Its funny that Elmo is still seen as "new" when the show is 55 years old and he's been on the show for 40 of those 55 years. Thats like saying Bean Bunny is a new character for The Muppets. But yeah, there are still people who just HATE Elmo for some reason.
I think there are enough people who...
I think it comes down to a few things.
Since they didn't replace Rizzo's performer right away, there was basically a decade with no Rizzo. This makes people miss the character and more willing to accept a "replacement". Similar to how people were super excited to have Scooter back in 2002 AVMMC...
I'm glad Rizzo is back and both sounds and acts like Rizzo, too. Hard to believe it's been 10 years since Rizzo had a speaking part.
I do feel sorry for Steve, though. For us this is great news and a holiday surprise. For him this must be crushing.
The thing is, they had interest in the line when Bert and Ernie came out. They were all over toy photography sites and videos. I feel like NECA dropped the ball by not having more figures ready to go.
Also, it was said that Oscar isnt coming with the elephant accessory and Sherlock Hemlock may...
I feel bad for anyone who sold their Palisades Sweetums with the assumption they would get their DST Sweetums.
Also, Zach from DST kept saying these were on their way and shipping out. At one point he said they were on a boat, I believe. So... were these ever actually produced? If so, where did...
Sherlock Hemlock looks perfect. The neck folds look spot on and his dog looks perfect as well.
Frazzle looks good, but the "naked" will always look a bit off due to articulation. Also, NECA's furniture sculpting is different than what we are used to from Palisades. Still a must buy.
NECA has...
There is a small chance that Uncle Deadly and Pepe will ship if they were already on their way as Zach kept saying. An even smaller chance of Sweetums. There is zero chance of Lips and Lew which is too bad because I really wanted those 2 over Pepe and Deadly.
Neca just announced they will have Count on their store starting 5/26.

Though they charge for shipping and it's not cheap. Count may also be on other figure sites around aroused that time as well.
