    Elephant Counting to 20

It doesn't sound like they were tremendously helpful regarding this skit, though... Maybe it's a lack of time or of knowledge of older skits...

New Members: Please Post and Introduce Yourself

I'm a new member - I've loved muppets since I was 1 yrs old (when I began watching Sesame Street - 1971). My mom bought me puppets of Ernie and Bert when I was three. Over the years I've come to realize that it's the comic genius of Jim Henson et al. that I really love! ;)

    The most obscure Sesame skits...

Okay, how about the skit with Kermit with the familiar pale blue backdrop and the brick ledge. He has a whole contraption where he cuts a rope, the sandbag falls on a see-saw, some other stuff happens, and a box opens releasing a balloon. This was, actually, a series of skits throughout one...

    Sesame Street censorship

I haven't seen any of the SS unpaved episodes (yet). Does anyone know if they "edited" (CENSORED!) any of them?

What sketches scared you as a kid?

"V" Is that the cartoon in space where the woman's flat voice kept repeating "v"...."v"......"v"....."v"..... as the letter "v" sped through space (from left to right) and, just as it comes to a stop, the woman says "VEEE!"??? I was a little freaked out by that as a kid.

    Rhyming Song

This is sheer Henson genius :) It's a skit that connects with little kids (I loved it as a kid) AND with grown ups! There's not much like that for kids nowadays!

    Obtaining past episodes

I'm a newcomer (probably obvious). I would LOVE to obtain past episodes of Sesame street - especially pre-1983 - for me and for my kids. I really don't have anything worth trading :( (unless you want to trade for recent Bob the Builder episodes and shows like that...). Can anyone...
