Sorry for popping in like this, but all of the theme park footage for these ads was filmed in Disneyland in California, not Disneyworld. :)
Please understand, I am in NO way trying to be rude, I just felt that I should point that out. :)
I love these videos. :excited:
Be that as it may, I still did not appreciate that it was even considered that I was deliberately trying to cause a problem.
It leads me to believe that people here are distrustful of newbies.
I would also like to publicly state, that if there was a problem with what I posted, let a moderator...
Just to make sure that everyone knows for sure. I was certainly NOT trying to cause trouble, and I am very offended that someone would suggest that I was deliberately trying to cause trouble. What do take me for?
Melissa got my point exactly.
Bye everyone
Like I said, there probably IS some validity to the puppetry being stiff. I just think that people may have taken it overboard since emotions were running high.
Kermit is a hard character in terms of emoting. His head is very flexible and there is always a danger of overdoing expressions or...
You know guys, forget all of the wild rumors, conspiracy theories, and juicy gossip.
Most often, the most boring explanation is usually the real one.
For all we know, it really could have been possible that Steve was just unavailable to perform Kermit for two occasions and if that is the case...
For Halloween, Disney has put up a site called "Disney's Haunted Holidays".
There are a few different pages on it, including one for the Muppets.
At first glance you might think that there is not much, the playlist has a few videos that we have seen before, but be sure to roll over the picture...
I'm sorry to bring this topic back up, but prawncracker, I should mention that when he said "should ease up a bit on the last few years of schmaltz." he was not referring to how he felt the Muppets have been in the last few years.
He said "schmaltz" to describe in his opinion, the last major...
Hey guys.
I would like to point out that there is also a Muppet spot with Gonzo and Camilla on the main page of Disneyland.com
Note; It may not appear when the page first loads, so just click "replay" to see it.
Here it is;

I watched it again.
Pepe does NOT say "you". He DOES say "ju".
It is Bill Baretta, no question.
And yes, it IS most definitely Steve doing Kermit for those ads as well as the live ceremony that took place on Sept. 29, 2009.
No offense guys, but the paranoia has got to stop. People...
For those who are interested, I found a video that shows some of the highlights from the announcement of the "Give a day, get a Disney day" promotion.

Seriously, I don't think we need to worry about Steve anymore.
Exactly. That IS Bill doing Pepe.
And I agree, no need to overreact.
What? Just because Pepe sounds slightly different to you, you automatically assume that its Artie?
That is not only unfair and malicious, its also childish.
Oh?
So if a film is hand-drawn that automatically makes it a good film?
Don't get me wrong. At the D23 Expo, I saw the first half-hour of "The Princess and the Frog", and this IS a good movie. But do you know what makes it a good movie? Its not the animation method, its the STORY.
The most...
