Wow, that's a neat find. Would've been interesting to see if this potential Fox show would have done well. "Muppets Tonight" was already raunchier than "The Muppet Show", but this one would have likely taken it up another notch to TV-14 levels.
Does anyone know where to watch the TV pilot "They're Only Human"? I was reading about it in the Richard Hunt biography and was intrigued, but there doesn't seem to be any footage online.

I thought Steve did a good job as Ernie as well, and Peter Linz has been pretty decent at it. Honestly wish Linz would also take over for Kermit since he seems to have the cadence down.

I recently found out that the episode "Arthur Weighs In" has been barred from rerun circulation, its last airing was in 2020. Apparently it was considered too offensive for the way it treats Arthur's weight. Personally, I thought it was a great episode that promoted healthy eating and exercise...
