Ta Da!!!!!
Everyone has been so helpful! I came here as a frustrated college student with no idea how to create a good puppet. This assignment is going to count for 10% of my overall mark. Thanks to many of you, I feel that I've guarenteed myself that full 10% !
I've uploaded pictures...
I'd like to see it!
I'll definately check those pics out when you have them up : )
Speaking of pics
Tomorrow I'll post shots of my Beaker project. I'm very happy with how it turned out!
-meep!
Humm....
No replys in two days??... is that good or bad? hehe... he.... :o
Anyhoo, I've been working on Beaker's lab today. His experiment decided to take over. Honest! I really didn't plan it!!
I used some really super fuzzy 'yarn' (you know, that really cool fancy stuff they have...
I thought I should start a new thread for this because "Dire Straights!!" doesn't apply anymore : ) Sorry I haven't posted in forever, I've been working on Mr. Beaker. My mum and I worked all yesterday till 1am (grandma even came over to help sew his labcoat). He's going to look great...
: (
um... dunno how to say this after that beautifully detailed guide.... but I'm doing a report on Kermit, but I'm doing a puppet of Beaker : ( It's mentioned later on in the posts but maybe it's not very clear in my original post. I feel so bad!!! :p
As we all know, Beaker wears a rather stunning, fashionable lab coat. Problem is, I have to make a Beaker puppet... and the lab coat. My mum can basically sew but she won't have a clue how to make it!
I realize this is probably a long shot, but does anyone here know where to get a pattern...
So far things are developing slowly. Between my Design History midterm last week and an 8 page essay for sociology, I barely had time to try to gather information for the essay portion of the assignment.
However, this week assignments are sparse and I'm digging through Jim Henson: The Works...
Lol!
GEEEEZ! Just cause I say it doesn't mean we ALL say it! And actually I rarely ever do say ya'll. Only when the mood strikes me. Same for 'groovy' 'dude' 'meh' and a bunch of others. I believe in a diverse vocabulary ; )
What we DO all say is, of course, Eh. Which if you think...
Ahhhh I see!
I was wondering about that myself : P I'm curious to see what Mr. Buck can do! The puppetry contest sounds really cool too, I'm looking forward to seeing the entries : )
Thanx!
Thanx guys!! I don't know what I would have done without you. :flirt: I'm meeting with my project group today and I'll pass along the valuable info (we each have to make our own puppet : )
I don't think my finished puppet is going to be as groovy as ya'lls, but when it's done I will...
