I am cautious about this idea. I mean I would like to see the Muppet Show again, but also given the landscape of modern day Hollywood and the recent attempts at bring the Muppets back to modern day audiences I rather be cautious than excited.

Forgive me for asking this question, but wasn't Sesame Street originally a one-hour themed narrative show with shorts in-between them ? So wouldn't this originally be back to a somewhat normal format for the series ?

The Muppets appearance and Ne-yo moments were great to watch. However, I would have thought that it could have been better to watch the old classics and mentioned maybe the later ones (election and earth) in the special.
