In the storybook version of the movie, there is a picture showing Kermit talking to his best man Gonzo when he asks about the minister...so, I guess for some reason this was cut from the movie...
It's similar to "The Muppet Movie Storybook": they show a picture of S&W at the El Sleezo...
Todd Graff's performances
I'm almost certain that one of Todd Graff's performances was on the album "Fair is Fair"...an overall pretty lame album!
He sings a song called "Too Busy". Hope that helps!
Hi all, I'm getting married this summer and have *finally* talked my financee into playing "Never Before, Never Again" at the wedding...under one condition...it's the Johnny Mathis version from "The Muppets Go Hollywood".
I don't have this as an MP3 (mainly because I don't have any MP3's!)...
No, Spinney did the illustrations too...somebody mentioned this earlier, but there is a wonderful picture of both Spinney and Oscar popping out of the trashcan on the back cover of the book!
Boxingcow.com RULES!!
Soooo...I just got off the phone with Boxingcow.com and I just have to say, for those who haven't ordered from these people in the past, START DOING IT! They are very customer friendly! Plus, it's always nice to chat with another muppet fan, right? (Thanks, uncleduke!)...
Boxingcow problems...
Has anybody else had any trouble with orders from Boxingcow.com? I ordered Series 5 on Oct. 2nd and it still says that my order is being processed! I have e-mailed them, but gotten no reply!
Any suggestions from those who have dealt with the site in the past...
If I remember correctly, Cookie was sleeping over at E&B's, and he had a nightmare...something like all of these cookies were floating around in the air and everytime he would try to snatch one, they would jump out of his reach.
Maybe this is a totally different sketch altogether....hmm
Yes, I think a lot of people confuse Chrissy from "LJ and the Monotones" with Chrissy from "Chrissy and the Alphabeats". Their voices are exactly the same....thanks for clearing that up, Count!
Ernie, to answer your third question, yes, Olivia was still Gordon's sister. She began her run on the show in the late 70's and left in the mid/late 80's. From day one she was recognized as Gordon's sister. I don't know an exact date, but the Birdland song was from sometime in the mid 80's.
Count, Big Jeffy was performed by Jeff Moss who, as I'm sure you know, wrote a lot of music for the Street. He also performed Jeffy, a little boy who sang a song w/ Cookie Monster about going to the barbershop. This song was on the album "For the First Time".
Rodeo Rosie
Jerry Nelson performed Rodeo Rosie...I've only seen her appear on the show once. It was on the 1974 season premeire. I assume it was also her first appearance because the sketch centers around her meeting the human cast + Big Bird in Hooper's Store.
I've seen her in several...
Yeah, that's the same skit that they're thinking of...Bunsen and Beaker were nowhere to be found. Maybe your memory is cross-referencing the labs and the scientists.
Good news...you weren't scared of Guy Smiley. You were scared of Prince Charming. In fact, they are the same puppet, but with a different voice. Guy Smiley was voiced by Jim Henson and usually begins his appearance by saying "this IS Guy Smiley, America's favorite game show host!" Prince...
The original album was "The People in Your Neighborhood" and was produced in 1980. If you look alive, there is an ebay auction for some SS cassettes and this album is one of them. Good luck!
