No. Just the standard DVD. (I've bought the movie on iTunes, but hadn't bought the DVD yet.) There still hasn't been an OFFICIAL announcement for The Intended Cut yet. Just Frank Oz mentioning it at a panel last fall and the MPAA saying that a cut by that name exists.
I loved it! And, being the out-take/blooper/out-of-character :fanatic: that I am, I loved the bit at the beginning when Elmo bit the cheese and threw it across the room. The phrase "You wanna a piece of Elmo!" needs to be the battle-cry for all Elmo supporters. :)
Being the manly-muppet that I am, I watched this and tried to get through it without crying, but when Carroll's voice cracks when he sings "big like a mountain", I got a tear, and I completely dissolved into a weeping 5 year old when he says "Thank you Kermit."
Considering the fact that the movie was directed by Miss Piggy, the original Audrey II was built by Snuffy, and Kermit's son worked on the film, I guess a a general Little Shop of Horrors thread is only natural. :)
This is by far my favorite movie and, I think, the best musical.... Ever. I...
Is it just me, or is only the green body avalible on the FAO Schwarz website? I want one, but I want something to chose from other than green. (Though I would probably get it.)
I think Farscape is gonna be repackaged and released in Webisodes, and Henson is gonna work on Neil Patrick Harris Dreaming in Puppets. I think there's something I'm forgetting, but that's most of it for right now.
I've never quite understood the backlash against Elmo, though that may be because I watched the show after he was introduced. I understand he can be a bit hyper/ADD-ish, but I have seen plenty of kids like that.
So, why do you love or hate this cute little monster?
:)
And please be civil.
It probably has to do with music rights issues/marketing reasons. The DVD set for The State was delayed for years because of it. MTV refused to talk about it for years, season one was released digitally in 2006 (with a new score/soundtrack), a DVD was announced by David Wain in 2007, followed by...
One of the best Piggy interviews I've seen. This is right up there with the Johnny Carson interview for (ironically) TMTM. And Piggy's reaction to Joan calling her "a b*tch" is priceless!
My favorite Sesame Street muppet is between Elmo and Big Bird. There's just something about them that just says "innocent," which fits perfectly fits for the show.
As far as my favorite Muppet muppet, it's between Kermit and Beaker. Kermit is the only sane one in this group of crazies, trying...
