Okay, so I finally watched the new Elmo's World.
My thoughts:
1. It looks GORGEOUS. Absolutely gorgeous. That's first. GREAT visuals.
Now, let's go through, point by point:
1. The new theme song...will take a little getting used to, though I like how it started with the "La la la la....."...
Here's a lookat the new Elmo's World in full:
As one of the (it seems) few who actually ENJOYED Elmo's World, color me intrigued--though I hope this means Elmo the Musical isn't gone in full.
PS: I will actually watch this in full later--so for all I know, it's horrible, but for now, still...
(rises from the dead) ;)
This could go on either discussion page, but Im putting it with the premiere:
Like antasmthompson above, I, too am SHOCKED that YT is showing the new eppies, but I forsee a problem with that:
The PBS airings won't be an "event" anymore. Anyone can see the episodes now...
At the end of the commercial, we see terry Crews standing in his driveway, half naked, with NO OTHER MUPPETS in sight. Kermit comes up, hears what he says, and then says, "I get that all the time." Terry has cauht Kermit's insanity.
Unless I'm reading this wrong.
Slackbot, oh i am. I just...
Hey guys!
So..my first exposure to the Muppets Super Bowl ad was last night. I avoided spoilers, I clicked on "Skip ad" with a vengeance when it popped up on Youtube, just so i could enjoy it for the first time last night.

That ending gag. It raises SO...
Does she have brown-blond hair? There was a woman in a wheelchsir talking with Murray about reespect in the opening Word on the Street yesterday (Don't Get Pushy) She only had one line. :)
Some sad--and yet exciting--news to share on the Sprout front:
Kelly, the most vetran host of the Sunny Side Up Show, has announced she is leaving the show in December. Sprout is holding open auditions to find a replacement. Good with kids? Want to get into TV? Wanna have a puppet chicken...
Well, THAT I agree with--if the kids like structure, then Elmo's World is a better choice. :)
Hey, I do too! I'm one of the few around here (apparently) who actually LIKED Elmo's World... but I LOVE Elmo the Musical. (That has GOT to be a part of the next SSL productions.) :)
Hey!
I just posted this theory on SS Facebook page--thought you folks would find it interesting. (If you want to respond on Facebook instead of here, I put it under the "Elmo on The Look" post.) :) Here 'tis:
"Hey, for all the parents and kids who don't like Elmo: the Musical:
I have a theory...
Muppetlover, if you go to this page
(http://www.sesamestreet.org/games)
the first game to come up should be a game version of the Pizza episode of Elmo the Musical...and the game begins with the full theme song! :)
Grover will be stopping by the Sunshine Barn on Wednesday to help ring in the New Year and discuss the subject of time with Chica and Kelly. By the way, IMO, Kelly is a much better host than Sean, who hosted when Oscar made his appearance. The show starts at 9:00/8:00 AM central on Sprout...
