I know it was going to happen eventually, but I'm still very heartbroken to hear the news of his passing. At least he's reunited with Jim Henson, Jerry Nelson, Richard Hunt and a few others involved with Sesame Street that passed before he did.

So I've been wondering for a while since Muppet Babies reboot and several Disney CGI remakes of past animated movies aired: if Disney decided to make another Muppet film, but decided to have it be CGI animated rather than puppeteered, would you watch it, and would it work for the Muppets?
Gosh, I hope it's not just shorts the Muppets are going to do on the streaming site. I was kind of hoping for a full-fledged half-hour episode series.
Don't get me wrong, I'm just as intrigued by these rumors as anyone but I really want to see more from the Muppets.
Were there any moments in any past Muppet film or TV series, that could be considered dark, or dismal at least, in tone today?
If you think so, which moment was that and maybe explain why.
I'm very intrigued by the plot, but if this takes place after Muppets Take Manhattan, does that mean Rizzo will get involved with the story? And if so, who is going to puppeteer him now since Steve's gone? And Lips for that matter if they'll actually have him in the new show.
