Trying to make my first arm rods, and I heard about using piano wire, but there are many different thicknesses. Which thickness is best? Thanks!!

    Avenue Q- Lucy Replica Help?

OH! Ok... Wow... Thanks! Can you just make it out of the fleece, and then just attach it to the bottom of the body?

    Avenue Q- Lucy Replica Help?

Thanks, but I meant a pattern of sorts or where to cut in darts to make the waist skinnier? Also, the tubes I meant were for all the Ave Q puppets. It's like it's attached from the head, forming a "neck" going through the body. It's really weird. I dunno. :/

    Avenue Q- Lucy Replica Help?

I'm trying to build a Lucy (the S***) replica, and I need help with her body. How should I make the hourglass figure out of sheet foam? On another note, what are the tubes that go through the puppet body for? What are they made out of? Any help would be appreciated!!!! Thanks!!!

Yes, thanks! She's still bald... But it's going to be Lucy from Avenue Q!

    Making Avenue Q Replicas

I'm doing the same thing! (My avatar is a bald Lucy) I have done Rod and Lucy partly, and Nicky completely (But I need to redo him.) For eyes, I used plastic soup spoons for the rounder eyes (like Kate and Princeton) and regular eyes for Rod. The black lining on Lucy is a backing of the spoon...

Hey! I'm new to making puppets, so I thought this would be a cool place to get some feedback and help if (and when) I hit a roadblock.
