Elmo Muppeteer Kevin Clash resigns from Sesame Street

I don't think his employer is or was responsible for monitoring what he did in his private life... let's keep a clear distinction here, as there is absolutely no involvement of his job or his character in the mix. He met these guys in a totally different capacity- has nothing to do with work...

Elmo Muppeteer Kevin Clash resigns from Sesame Street

Things are getting messy and I have a feeling that there will be a rapid increase over the years so everyone is advised to hang onto their hats, lol.

Elmo Muppeteer Kevin Clash resigns from Sesame Street

It happens everywhere to be sure and it's not funny; I agree. But the fact is 'how I see it' it happens everywhere and the rampant attention of the media on these events only serves to ramp it up, rather than reduce it. A quick look at rising statistics bears that out. So now our kids truly...

Elmo Muppeteer Kevin Clash resigns from Sesame Street

Yes, that is the point I was trying to make a few weeks back... this scandal, true or not true, casts a poor light over the whole industry because that is how people think. Really, really sad that after coaches, priests, teacher and boy scouts, now this has hit our beloved puppeteers!

Elmo Muppeteer Kevin Clash resigns from Sesame Street

Ok, yes, thanks. It's just... I mean Michael Vick or Sandusky... what they did doesn't even seem in the same camp as this case.

Elmo Muppeteer Kevin Clash resigns from Sesame Street

Ha, I finally realized how old Kevin's daughter is... no wonder I was so confused. The way he told the story at William Patterson, I was thinking she was still little. So this makes much more sense to me now. Visiting chat rooms and having sex with younger men is not illegal (as long as...

Elmo Muppeteer Kevin Clash resigns from Sesame Street

My heart broke when I first heard about this whole thing because I know that, true or not true, these allegations will have an effect on the whole Puppetry community, as it will undoubtedly spark a round of guidelines and procedures that will likely far limit the amount of contact these...

Elmo Muppeteer Kevin Clash resigns from Sesame Street

Why did I think Clash was happily married (to a woman) with kids? Did I make that up in my mind? Was this before that time?

Elmo Muppeteer Kevin Clash resigns from Sesame Street

We were at William Paterson as well... I keep thinking back to it because now I think I was totally halluncinating the story he told about (I thought) traveling and calling home to his wife and kids and talking to his daughter as Elmo. It was news to me that Kevin has been openly gay (as I...

Your Thoughts: Sesame Street Season 38

We've had at least two days of re-runs from last season here. No new episodes for some reason. Maybe they are spacing out the new shows this time, since there are less than before?

Your Thoughts: Sesame Street Season 38

I think the new season has been super so far. I'm even getting used to the new theme music. The street scenes have been good, no Elmo's World yesterday is promising and the parodies have been very funny. Plus, Kingston Livingston was on today! Nice!

Your Thoughts: Sesame Street Season 38

Overall, I really liked the first ep of the season. I can overlook new theme music if I have to.

Your Thoughts: Sesame Street Season 38

Only ten minutes into the new episode, it's good so far, with the exception of the change to the theme song in the opening. I understand wanting to appeal to the taste of a new generation, but I didn't like it.

"It's a Lovely 11 Morning" help with words

From memory... "I saw eleven cows resting in the buttercups, I said, "How's the cottage cheese?" They said, "Aw, go dry up!" Could be wrong, but that is how I have sung it for the last, oh 28 years or so.
