    The cuts wouldn't bother me nearly as much if Disney hadn't used the phrase "completely restored" and simply said that there were rights issues. Now all I expect from them is to fix the problem, regardless of the cost.

    I'm surprised that there is any flip-flopping on which openings to use since a DVD set could easily contain both, perhaps by using the multiangle feature.

    Muppet DVDs: Widescreen vs. Pan and Scan

    Why prefer pan and scan? "Fullscreen" almost always removes large parts of the picture. Why would you pay to see only part of a film? It would be like going to a movie theater with blinders on. Pan and scan isn't even the way the people who made the movies wanted them to be seen.
